This narrow parking lot has benches and tables above the Amper, about 2 minutes on foot from the water. Buchenau shopping center is about 20 minutes away on foot, and walks lead toward Fürstenfeldbruck or Schöngeising through the Ampermoos. Night-time traffic interrupts sleep, although weekends are quieter, and truck drivers sometimes stay overnight.

Unfortunately, only a short night's rest; then the traffic starts rolling. Naturally quieter at the weekend. The nature is beautiful (walk to FFB via the Ameisenstüberl on the Amper, or to Schöngeising through the Ampermoos; many hidden places for sunbathing).
