A large free picnic and parking area with a flat concrete surface, picnic tables, two rubbish bins and a small wooden shelter. It is near the road, which can be busy during the day but quiet in the evening and at night. The area is clean, very windy, and offers good scenery and nearby walking.

Spacious, level concrete pitch, close to the road but very quiet because there is little traffic. Two rubbish bins and a small wooden shelter for protection. Very windy. Fifteen minutes from the Arctic Circle Centre, which is nothing more than a souvenir shop and restaurant.
We spent some time there to have a snack. We found the area very clean. It would be a good place to stay overnight, but we decided to continue travelling a little farther.
Beautiful free spot. Picnic bench and rubbish bins available. There is also a hut for shelter or spending the night. The road is busy during the day, quiet in the evening and at night. We had some lovely walks. But some people leave such a mess. We first cleaned it up with a grabber and put it in the bin. It is a shame that guests of this place do this! Please keep nature clean and do not leave cigarette butts or rubbish behind.
Perfect for overnight if your self sufficient . Good location , picnic table bins that’s it . Very peaceful with great scenery.
