2 Strada Ghisiolo, 46100, Mantova
Been here?
This is a relatively flat, simple parking area beside a petrol station and the main road to Ponte San Giorgio. It is lit and has surveillance cameras, though recent comments describe it as having no services; water is available behind the station building. The centre is about 2 km away, with a nearby cycle path and access to the free shuttle from Campo Canoa. Crossing the busy road can be awkward.

Well-located parking for sightseeing, with the shuttle 5 minutes away.
We stopped only during the day to visit the city. The lady who runs it is very kind and also allows half-day parking, 12 hours. It is a little unpleasant to cross the road right there, but once across, the road leading to the Campo Canoa shuttle is wide and safe. The parking area is a large, flat, clean and well-maintained lot, with no services.
Spent one night from Saturday to Sunday. Excellent as a parking area; there are no sanitary facilities, but for one night you make do. The area managers are very kind.
Friendly and conveniently located for visiting the old town, with plenty of space and level pitches, but little shade. There is only a toilet at the front reception, a pit toilet operated by the owners. €8 for half a day.
Convenient parking for anyone wanting to visit central Mantua. A shuttle is available, but you have to walk a little to catch it.
Beautiful, quiet parking area. A very kind lady came to us shortly after we called. We used the short waiting time to fill up at the small gas station next door. The phone number or contact details could be displayed more prominently.
I confirm the previous comments: illuminated and quiet. The free shuttle bus on weekdays is very close by, at the Campo Canoa parking area. The very kind owner at reception will provide you with a very useful map of the city. Well done.
As a parking area it is acceptable, although it has no services, is not enclosed or fenced, and is not supervised. The center is about 30 minutes away on foot. Very friendly staff.
Excellent stopover for visiting Mantua. It is easy to reach the center even though we were there for New Year’s. The added value is certainly the owner’s kindness. Truly an exceptional person who saved my holiday after a trivial accident. Thanks again from Puglia.
Parking without services, fairly quiet, illuminated, accessible 24 hours. Flat lot and a sense of security. €15 is too expensive without services. Negative point: crossing the very busy road without a pedestrian crossing, with cars speeding.
Convenient for reaching Mantua either by shuttle bus or by a pleasant walk.
It is just a parking lot, perhaps a little expensive for a simple parking lot.
A good place for one night.
Parking reserved for campers, near the camping area, which was full. Convenient because it is easy to access at any time and very spacious, but €15 just to park seems a bit like a rip-off. Ten minutes on foot from the free shuttle to the center, although crossing the main road without crossings or traffic lights is dangerous.
Camping area, simple, without waste disposal, only water filling. Very spacious and completely flat, quiet, no shade, convenient for visiting Mantua. Excellent manager, very kind and always available.
By now it costs €15 for an overnight stay. We only parked during the day and paid €5 for that. Unfortunately, the footpath along the road into the city center is somewhat dangerous.
Very large roadside parking area with a gravel surface, fairly quiet at night. Cost is €10 for 24 hours. Reasonably convenient for the center, but there are no pedestrian crossings or safe access to the cycle path, which is a problem for those with children. Same issue as at the equipped area a few hundred meters farther on.
Camper parking without services, 30 minutes on foot from Mantua.
Excellent area, quiet and safe. We arrived in the evening and there were other campers. In the morning we were welcomed by a very kind lady who showed us the map and how to reach the center by shuttle. €10 price—great!
It is a parking lot and little more. We parked there for a few hours while visiting the city of Mantua. The lady charged us only €5 when we told her we would not sleep there. The city is about a kilometer away, but the first stretch is dangerous because there is no sidewalk and there is heavy traffic.
Quiet and convenient place for visiting Mantua. You have to walk 1.5 km to reach the center, but it is a pleasant walk. Crossing the lake on the bridge is magical.
Stopped for a lunch break; we did not sleep there, but it is possible. A little far from the city.
The place is well located and the lady who runs it is very kind and gives you all the information. But BEWARE! YOU CANNOT DISPOSE OF GREY OR BLACK WATER! That information is incorrect in the area description. It is a significant inconvenience. You cannot dispose of rubbish either.
A parking area for self-sufficient campers. I stayed here for one night on the way home. I could not find any rubbish disposal or camper services. A sensible place to stay for exploring the city of Mantua. Flat gravel surface.
Very good for those who need nothing!
Pleasant parking area without any services, but at a fair price for self-sufficient overnight stays.
For us, the best and most economical choice. Since we only wanted to visit Mantua for a few hours, we paid €5. No services, no shade, but plenty of spaces. Within a few minutes, by bike, on foot, or with the free shuttle, you are in Mantua.
