Forbidden to all vehicles; renovation work is underway. In the future there will be no more parking.
Today, 31 May 2026, I am at this parking area. The municipal police told me that I can park here without any problems. In fact, the area shown in the photo is under construction.
Currently closed because of construction work!
Good location for one or two nights, including for a large motorhome. The sunrise over the sea is lovely! Quite a few people pass by on foot, but it is not a problem.
Wonderful sea view. At night you can hear the waves. It is so relaxing. Quiet place close to the village, on the boulevard with restaurants and cafés.
Space for 15 campers, right by the sea with a beautiful view. In the evening you can hear the frogs in the lake behind me. Lovely and close to the boulevard of a small, pleasant village; we slept wonderfully. Recommended!
The place is very quiet for sleeping; during the day people walk along, and the beach is very close.
Place to park facing the sea, with only the sound of the waves. We spent two nights here with other motorhomes. Market in Oropesa on Thursdays next to Constitution Square. Trains can be heard in the distance but do not run at night. Restaurants nearby offer reasonable value for money.
Large asphalted parking area between the former Marinador and Oropesa. A lot of noise from the waves and wind at night because it is directly by the sea.
Perfect morning view.. See pic.. Lots of campers prob can take 15..walking distance to everything.. Stoped over one night, think coukd do another at this time of year.
At weekends, a truck carrying pigs comes to this area. It smells terrible, especially when the wind changes; it becomes unbearable. Truck shown in the photo.
A dangerous area. On 4 January 2025 at 8 p.m., one of our side windows was smashed in an attempted break-in. The man did not expect us to be sleeping in the motorhome, but the damage was done. It was a 2003 Peugeot Boxer.
The place is fantastic. There are several large spaces to park beyond the Oropesa buildings, facing the sea and the path and promenade used by people going to the former Marina d’Or. Sea views and only pedestrians, but it was Saturday night and the “unconscious” young people shouted, threatened us, and urinated between our vehicle and another one. Most people were simply talking loudly or returning from a night out. Some destroyed a promenade bench and the green bollards marking the path. After dawn, some “older” people, around 30 or more, started hitting our neighbouring motorhome.
Basically a beautiful place. Currently very quiet. However, when we arrived there were many rotting shells on the beach, and it smelled accordingly unpleasant. The beach is partly pebbly but also has plenty of fine sand. Lots of walkers, otherwise hardly any traffic.
Thanks to csankadri, your review was helpful. Suspicious people hang around nearby. We only took a break and then drove on.
I spent three nights here, and the sad part is that everything was fine until the last morning. I felt very good and calm, but on the final morning, when I went for a walk with my dogs, I returned to find that someone had broken in. They climbed through the window and took all my electronic devices and anything of value they could find. I believe they had been watching me. Until that point…
