Paid scenic parking, crowded and steep

I passed by around 8:30 p.m. It was impossible to park because hundreds of cars were there to admire the sunset. I had to continue on my way.✦Translating

Parking is paid during the day. Arrive early if you have a large vehicle, as it quickly becomes very busy and there are few motorhome spaces along the roadside. I believe another car park is available a little farther away if needed. Otherwise, it is very convenient and just a short walk from Col de la Forclaz, which offers a magnificent view of the lake.✦Translating

The car park is quiet once the restaurants close—perhaps too quiet, as I was alone and felt uneasy. The view and setting are absolutely magnificent! Surrounded by fields with cows and their bells, it is very relaxing. However, it is quite steep, making it difficult to sleep comfortably.✦Translating
