Free roadside parking on a hillside, a short walk down to Vianden's castle and town centre. The spot is sloped, has some traffic noise during the day, and offers no services. Several travellers have parked overnight without incident, describing minimal traffic and a restful night after around 7pm, though the slant makes sleeping less comfortable. Some shaded areas are available among the parking spaces.

Ideal parking area for stopping and visiting Vianden and its impressive castle. It is only a five-minute walk from the castle and very well located. The parking area is beside the road and quite sloped, but it has plenty of spaces and some areas with a little shade. Perfect for a short visit to the village and castle.Translating

Just parked here to visit the castle about 5 minutes walk to the castle then 5 minutes walk to the centre.
Great place to park overlooking the castle and the town. The road is on a slant but it’s fine. Minimal cars after 7pm so a good restful night. Great sunrise in the morning. Highly recommend but no services.
We stayed here during the day for several hours to visit the castle. The spot is ideal for this, as it can be reached on foot within a few minutes. It would also be perfect for visiting the town.Translating
We spent two nights here. There is some traffic, but it did not bother us. It is somewhat sloped; we did not use levelling blocks because we do not know whether Luxembourg regulations allow them on the street. Cars pass quite close. It was the only free place where we could stay without risking a fine.Translating
