Reservoir site, take waste

A very quiet gravel-road site beside a reservoir, with a larger parking area and a smaller one behind it. Access was easy in dry weather, and a few sheep may wander by. The site lies between two houses, with the 150-m rule only narrowly observed. Used toilet paper has been left on the ground, so visitors must take their waste with them.

Unfortunately, the whole site needs some care and attention. The showers and toilets are old but were clean. The swimming pools are in disrepair and out of use. This huge campsite had only three occupied pitches. Unless the price drops significantly or there is investment, it’s not a great place to stay. It is sad, as this site could be incredible.
