27E Calle Félix Iturriaga, 26329, Canales de la Sierra
Been here?
A new, quiet motorhome area beside a picturesque village, with a small river and countryside surroundings. Recent reports say there is currently no water, while electricity and other service availability may vary. The village is 150 meters away, and the gate must be closed to prevent cows entering the pitches.

The village is beautiful, but there is no water in the area, which is a shame.
Pleasant little aire with all services free except electricity, very quiet at night, slightly sloping. The only drawback is the lack of bins.
Really great, peaceful, with free services. Thank you to the municipality for this rural aire.
A quiet parking area for a stopover. Fresh water and wastewater disposal work well. Electricity? Only with a token? Where can you get them? Funded with EU money? But the instructions are only in Spanish, not even English. The campers present did not understand them. Neither did we. Beautiful location and village! The site has no bins, tables, or benches, but seems quite new. Good solid surface. Thank you.
Delimited parking area with water available. Note that there is no bin; otherwise, everything is perfect. (Lots of cows and sheep in the area.)
A fantastic, picturesque village. Thank you for the parking and water and waste facilities. The water is now working, repaired on the 4/3/26.
Excellent area with all services free, including electricity. Very beautiful village and surroundings.
The area is new and well maintained, in beautiful surroundings and a lovely village. The only problem is that the water taps do not work.
Area in an idyllic setting, surrounded by canals and mountains perfect for walking. Beside a road with very little traffic, very peaceful. Free electricity. The water did not work, nor did the fountains in the beautiful, well-maintained village. That is why I am not giving it five stars. Luckily, I did not need to fill up. I am grateful to the residents for this generous initiative. Incredible experience.
Very idyllic place. We only managed to get around the corner through the gate with great difficulty in our 780 cm vehicle. The road along the reservoir is about 17 km and can only be driven at a maximum of 30 km/h. Great views while driving through the narrow valley. Many thanks to the municipality!
lovely place just outside of pretty town, calm and quiet - we are the only ones here but i think the place could support about 8 vw type camper vans, nearby road building activity, as of Sept 2025 is happening - a lot of free wandering cows and bells - as we are fenced they are charming not a nuisance. No black water (although indicated in symbols) - 4 stars as no toilets - but overall great.
Level site, quiet day and night, free services including electricity. Don’t forget to close the gate, otherwise you will have a visit from the cows. Pretty village, nice bar and restaurant, welcoming people. Night of September 2. I highly recommend it. Thank you to the municipality.
Despite the rules of use being clearly written (maximum 48 hours, no putting out tables, awnings, etc.), one family has settled in with all their belongings throughout the area. They have even taken over and modified one of the electrical outlets. This level of uncivil behavior makes the stay unpleasant for everyone else. It is a shame, because this is one of the few equipped areas in the region.
A very peaceful and pleasant place. The area is very well equipped. Thank you to the municipality for welcoming us.
Wonderful little Aire with all facilities including electricity. Stay for up to 72 hours. Lovely village a short walk away and when we were there a baker called during the morning. Access from the south is quite rough and through roadworks (hopefully to improve the road width and surface) but it’s nothing worse than many other roads in rural Spain. Good 5g signal on Movistar.
Very well finished. A good place. Quiet and spacious.
The previous comment is not true, at least not now in April. There are serious roadworks but it is possible to reach the parking and to pass through, though NOT for vehicles more than 3.5 tons. For a standard motorhome, no problem. Go over the humpback bridge. Lovely place next to a burbling little river. We recommend the Taberna da Villa in the village - tasty tapas and good beer at low prices.
It is currently a building site, so there is no possibility of staying here... such a shame, since it is such a beautiful area, but there is also nowhere to park nearby...
What a find! All services available free of charge, including electricity for two vans. No tokens required, just push the button. If it goes off, just press the button again and it resets the time. Nice and level, clean, peaceful and about 5 minutes walk into a lovely little village. There’s a couple of bars and restaurant too. Also nice cycling and dog walks. Thank you to the council.
Recommended site with all services and two free electricity points. Thanks to the town council, and hopefully it stays this way.
Magnificent area with all services. Level and pleasant, with no problems staying there. Water, electricity, and a convenient gray-water dump. The village is very beautiful; the Las Villas hotel and restaurant is ideal, with a good atmosphere.
Great place, with a good restaurant nearby run by friendly people, and dogs are welcome.
Incredible place with all amenities free of charge. Very beautiful little village. The site is very accessible and wonderfully quiet. A lovely place to start cycling tours.
A very beautiful place! Everything is available and currently free of charge. Waste can be disposed of in the village. A sign saying that the gate should remain closed because of the cows would be helpful. We would come back! Thanks to the municipality—and please leave the places cleaner than you found them....
Good area. All services work. The electricity meter says a coin is required, but I was able to connect without any problem. Spacious and level.
Actually a nice motorhome site, but although it is new, it is rather poorly maintained. Someone left the gates open, so there is cow dung on the site. Electricity is supposedly obtained with a token, but there is no information anywhere about where to get one. The fresh-water tap cannot be turned off. A rubbish bin would also be useful. So, a tip for the municipality: a little more attention.
A very pleasant place to spend the night. The village is beautiful and the locals are very friendly, especially David, the municipal officer, who made us feel at home. A good initiative by the town council to provide these spaces—thank you!
