A quiet motorhome parking area near the town hall, with many spaces, bins and panoramic views. The lower section is almost level, but the sandy clay ground becomes muddy after rain, and the village streets are narrow. There are no services besides bins; vehicle length should not exceed 6.50 meters and maximum weight is 3.5 tons.

Perfect. Flat and peaceful, with a beautiful view. Clean, and there are really plenty of spaces. We have a 5.4-metre Jumper, and the ground was dry, so it was perfect.
Peaceful place. The ruin is not always accessible. Wonderful views over the surrounding area. Sandy ground, so muddy when it rains. No truly level areas for parking. No facilities except bins. Large campers may have trouble getting in. Narrow streets.
Very nice spot with a beautiful view over the valley. At the moment, a few workers come during the day to harvest olives.
Panoramic view. As long as it is dry, the ground is good. Down below and at the back you can park almost level. Absolute peace at night. Respect Spain’s new motorhome laws: DGT Instruction PROT 2023/14 08V-74.
What a wonderful place to spend the night. Delightfully peaceful, with a beautiful ruin and a nice village, plus a wonderful view.
Mid-July 2025... alone... magnificent view. Ideal for a quiet night. The ground is almost flat at the back of the car park. Two rubbish bins installed by the municipality. The castle above the car park will watch over you. Clay ground, dry during our visit. The ground slopes towards the car park exit, theoretically not really a problem in rain. Thank you to the municipality.
Exactly the type of spot we are looking for: alone in the world, beautiful views, and isolated from all activity. And you can visit the castle too. The only drawback is that the ground is not flat and is clayey.
Peaceful place with a beautiful sunrise. I ultimately stayed longer because I liked it. Lovely surroundings for climbing or walking.
Slightly sloping ground. Cars pass until late in the evening, but it is not disturbing. Beautiful view. The village is worth visiting. Fine for one night. Thanks to the municipality of Montesa.
The road to get there is narrow and steep, but don’t be discouraged—you arrive in a short time. The area is unpaved and muddy when it rains, on the opposite side of the village. To visit the castle, or rather the few remains, you need to be lucky. Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays; on other days only in the morning, with afternoons also open on Saturdays and Sundays.
Good place to spend a few days; I come here quite often! Please try not to throw rubbish away... let’s set an example. Thanks to Montesa municipality.
