Since November 21, the City of Amiens has been installing barriers to prevent motorhomes from parking. They absolutely want to send them to the campsite, which is 5 km from the city center and costs around twenty euros per day. The City of Amiens is anti-motorhome.✦Translating

Not a quiet location but convenient for a visit to the City. 6am Wednesday mechanised road sweeper was operating in the car park - a rude awakening! Nice shade under the lime trees but with inconvenience of the tiny flowers settling and sticking onto the MH. The other parking in this parking area nearer the town is well used by locals.

I generally agree with the previous comments. However, owners of very long vehicles should think about their departure and cars that may be parked beside or opposite them. There is an ideal space in this parking lot, opposite the entrance. It allows you to leave driving straight ahead.✦Translating

We arrived in the late afternoon and struggled to find a space with our 7-meter Challenger, but there was no problem later around 9 p.m., when we changed places. A very large, flat asphalt parking lot in an excellent location. Free parking. No spaces specifically for motorhomes; they all park in the upper section. We stayed 24 hours without any problems. Very quiet night. Traffic gradually resumes from 7 a.m. We visited on foot: the cathedral, Saint-Leu district, and the Hortillonnages boats from number 54. Perfect. Additionally, there is a one-hour tour on the little train.

Good place for a quiet, free night in the middle of the city. You are not alone. Small supermarket right around the corner.
