A large campsite near Liverpool with spacious pitches, many facilities, and generally clean toilets and showers. Some pitches have trees for shade, and hot tubs are available at £69 per night. It can be busy during school holidays and weekends, with aircraft noise also reported. A recent visitor with a Ford Tourneo Connect was not allowed to stay, while loud singing and disruptive behaviour were reported late at night.

Dislikes: We took our young daughter to the park, but the foul language and bullying from other children made us consider leaving. A football was kicked into my husband's head with no apology. At 10:50 pm there was still loud singing, and people kept walking across our pitch. The whole site felt rough and disappointing. We won't be returning
It does not allow staying in my Ford Tourneo Connect, so I was unable to stay.
A large campsite with full services and good cleanliness, but it feels commercial. You spend one night there and leave without many memories.
Love chilled campsite with friendly staff and the option to have your own hot tub £69 per night we stayed 2 nights and the hot tubs are fantastic and relatively new busy during school holidays and weekends but quieter during the week
Large campsite with spacious pitches, water and electricity. Clean, well-designed toilet and shower building with plenty of facilities. Laundry with two washing machines (£4.50) and two tumble dryers (£2). £24 for one night in January, for one person. Some noise from occasional airplanes, but nothing too bothersome.
Fairly large campsite, very busy in summer. Spacious pitches and all services. Dirty sanitary facilities. £28 per night.
Last minute booking £20 for the night. Nice site. Clean toilets/showers/ play area. Used the on-site play barn - extremely expensive at £9 a play- wouldn’t use again. Staff very helpful and friendly. Pitches fairly close together but that didn’t bother me as wasn’t sat outside - may be a issue in summer

Very tidy site, good facilities and large pitches. In winter it costs £21.50 per night, including electricity and water at the pitch.
Very untidy site. When we pitched up and opened the rear doors of the campervan, we were greeted by nettles over four feet tall waving in the breeze. Come on, cut them down. We arrived on Sunday; a notice on the pub said it was closed for the weekend, but it was still closed on Monday. The cafe is rather tatty, with little food choice. Overall, the site was muddy, with very little space between pitches. Very expensive. Cannot recommend, sorry.
