1 Chasse de la Houe, 50340, Flamanville
Been here?
This small gravel parking area near the panoramic restaurant offers a splendid sea view, beautiful sunsets and access to a coastal hiking trail. Motorhomes can reach it with a possible U-turn, and the area is generally quiet, though hikers, runners and restaurant customers pass nearby. The approach road is very narrow, with difficult crossings, and the parking can fill on busy evenings. Strong winds are possible, with little shelter.

Beautiful sea view and sunset. Quiet place, with very few campers off-season. Next to a restaurant, so quite convenient.
Wonderful view. In the evening, we had a relaxed meal at the restaurant next door, Le Sémaphore, which was very good. It was very windy and the motorhome rocked a lot. Quite a few hikers and runners pass by because the trail is right next to it.
Fantastic view! It was very windy for us and everything shook because there was no windbreak. Picnic area next door, and a restaurant too—only snacks in the evening, but very good.
Breathtaking view, front-row seats for the sunset. Tonight we are completely alone, especially since the restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Coastal path for lovely walks. Top-notch!
Great site next to the semaphore. We arrived fairly late, which allowed us to get a spot; there is a restaurant next door. On the edge of the cliff, with a magnificent sea view.
Great place, flat parking area. We were alone for the night. We had lunch at Le Sémaphore: excellent cuisine with fresh ingredients and very reasonable prices. Thanks to the whole team for the welcome.
Of course I agree with the previous comments, especially about the stunning sea view. Nevertheless, I want to warn about the access: the road is very narrow and bordered by hedges, making passing extremely difficult. The parking area was packed this Saturday evening with customers of the Sémaphore bistro, which I recommend, so parking and turning around can be very complicated.
A beautiful place worth preserving! If we avoid barbecues during severe drought, pick up our rubbish and toilet paper, everything should last and remain available for everyone. The restaurant, taken over by young people, offers organic and/or local dishes—a cheeky contrast to the nearby power plant.
Splendid sunset views. The panoramic restaurant is excellent, offering €18 and €22 lunch menus with refined dishes and a warm, energetic, smiling welcome. We will return. The location 100 meters before the restaurant is also very good, perhaps even better. The indicated spot is used by customers to turn around and by hikers. Truly magical.
Beautiful, quiet place. In mid-September we were the only ones for the night. Wonderful view. However, there is little shelter in strong winds. Hiking trail right next to it.
Wonderful place, large gravel parking area. We were the only ones there on June 11. Unobstructed sunset view.
Wonderful view, several spaces; there were three or four motorhomes. There is a very pleasant nearby area with tables. However, it was windy during the night.
