At the next parking area, parking is permitted for 24 hours. Perfect for a cycling tour along the canals through the marshes to Maillé or Marans, and for crossing the Sèvre Niortaise by chain ferry between Charente-Maritime and Vendée. Follow the VéloVendée signs toward Liez, Fontaine de Courdault, and Damvix—in short, find some cool air.Translating
A haven of peace. Behind the paved parking area there are grassy, shaded spaces if desired. The left side is mainly occupied by vans and motorhomes, but sparsely. The right side is used by visitors' cars for the abbey. Thanks to the municipality for allowing us to park, and especially for providing a great alternative to the overcrowded aire at Mazeau when I arrived. Very quiet day and night.Translating
We slept in the auxiliary parking area a little lower down, after the main one. It is great, with much less car traffic and grassy spaces.Translating
Quiet for one night, clean, no services. Monuments to visit.Translating
December 6. Access to the entire village was closed. Parking was not accessible.Translating
Beautiful abbey parking area, set back from the road. We felt safe. Quiet, with a beautiful park and a magnificent sunset.Translating
A really beautiful overnight stop. The Saint-Pierre Abbey can be visited until 6 p.m., and the next day you can book a canoe trip through the mystical marshlands of the Marais.Translating
Night in the auxiliary parking area, much more pleasant than behind the abbey. Shaded spaces. A quiet night with a view of the illuminated abbey. The parking area runs alongside the canals. Bicycle tours depart from here to explore the Marais Poitevin in the town center. The village has all amenities.Translating
We spent the night in the auxiliary parking area, with a view of the abbey. Several flat shaded spots. Close to the road, which is fairly busy, but quiet at night. Great!Translating
Large parking area with shade and greenery along the marshes. No services. Free and just two steps from the abbey and village. Great!Translating
Very quiet and very clean. From June 1 to June 30, a terminal gives us our space and the barrier code. Thank you, town hall.Translating
Beautiful shaded spot with picnic tables. Ideal for taking a boat trip in the Marais Poitevin, and also next to the charming abbey if you like old stones and history.Translating
Perfect. View of the abbey. Flat and shaded space. Day-and-night parking only. No services. Avoid spreading out—it is a parking area, not a motorhome aire or campsite. Everything is nearby.Translating
Perfect aire, grassy ground to choose from, shade and quiet in this season. Thank you for making this site available. Recommended for fishermen; the aire is near a canal.Translating
Very pleasant parking area that deserves to exist. We spent a very pleasant night without any problems.Translating
Beautiful, spacious aire with capacity for around 20 places. No services. Starting point for many walks. Thanks to the municipality for the quality of this aire.Translating
We stopped only to eat; we did not spend the night. The place is beautiful.Translating

Great quiet night, very good off-season.Translating
I am only giving 3 stars because the man working at the hotel told us it would be €10 for the night and that we could pay in the morning. When I went to pay in the morning, the receptionist told me they were no longer accommodating motorhomes and that we should not have stayed there. She was really nice and we ate breakfast at the hotel, but I do not think overnight stays are allowed anymore.Translating
