A free parking area directly by the Elbe ferry, suitable for a stop before or after crossing. Spaces accommodate vans up to 6,40m, while larger vehicles may find access difficult; parking on the grass is possible. The area is partly uneven, with 2 Dixi toilets, a fish sandwich stand and no shade. Overnight stays are generally possible, although ferry traffic, the nearby road and occasional fishermen can create noise.

We stopped here after getting off the ferry. It got busy but was a good option. The car park is not quite level, but no one bothered with leveling blocks.
Well located for spending a quiet night before taking the ferry and crossing the Elbe. The parking area has spaces for vans up to 6.40 m, but you can park on the grass.
Paved, good place for a stopover. Full sun, no shade. Two portable toilets and a fish-sandwich stand.
Free parking; for us, at 7.40 m, it was no problem. Larger vehicles might have difficulty. When we were there, the place was almost empty apart from three cars, so there were no problems.

Perfect spot to stop before or after you get the ferry. We, along with several others, stayed the night with no problems. Parking is on both sides of the road, no facilities apart from a litter bin where we stayed on the south side.
Although it is signposted as a motorhome site, it is crooked and uneven and suitable for a maximum of 6 meters. It is also directly next to the main road. We left.
Very good parking for a break if the queue is too long.
If there is a backup because of the ferry, it takes forever to reach the parking area. Then you still do not know whether anything is available and may have waited in line for 30 minutes for nothing. We continued to the harbor.
A great spot near the Elba ferry crossing. Lovely walks, picnic benches & bins, lake and ducks. Some loud talking and shouting from the fishermen at the lake in the night otherwise quiet once the ferry closes at night. 6 vans parked here on the night we were here.
