This peaceful mountain parking area beside a pilgrimage church offers a panoramic view and only a few level spaces. Overnight stays are suitable for one night, with clean public toilets, water and electrical outlets behind the church. The Rennfeld hike is 8.2km with 700m gain and takes about 2.5h; church bells ring every 15 min from 6 AM to 10 PM, and the lot is brightly lit all night.

Perfect for one night! So incredibly quiet! The hike to Rennfeld is definitely worthwhile, as is looking inside the church. The toilet seems to be open all night. Great view and cows as neighbors.
Magnificent place to sleep; there is water and clean toilets behind the church. We hiked to Rennsfeld, which is very beautiful, about 1 hour 45 minutes uphill. I recommend this spot.
Peaceful Saturday stay in the upper lot (~16 level spaces). The Rennfeld Hill hike (8.2km, 700m gain) offers stunning views in 2.5h. Clean public toilets/sink/el.outlets are behind the church. Note: The lot is brightly lit all night, and church bells ring 6 AM–10 PM (every 15 min). Sunday Mass starts after 9 AM. Overall, a lovely, quiet spot. Big thanks to the parishioners for the facilities!
Unfortunately, we spent only one night here, from Saturday to Sunday. Because of the church services, we left early so we would not be in the way. A dreamlike place! A truly magnificent church worth visiting. The on-site toilet was clean and tidy, with endless peace and a beautiful view. The approach is genuinely difficult with large motorhomes. Nevertheless, we would gladly return!
Best place ever seen in Austria. Very quiet at night, few locals in the morning. The toilets are behind the church and must say they were very clean with toilet paper and paper towels provided.
Wonderful, peaceful night. Great view. Church bells ring until 9 p.m. and start again around 6 a.m. We were there on a Sunday and were kindly invited to Mass. Some hikers arrive in the morning; otherwise, we had the place to ourselves.
Wonderful place; I was able to enjoy the sunrise today. Church bells and poor 4G reception should not bother you. Clean public toilets are available.
Enchanting quiet place to stay for one night high on the mountain, lot by the church, the views are perfect.
Road there is narrow and steep, but worth it. Scenery is beautiful. Very quiet night, but the church bells ring first time at 6am so be prepared to wake up early and see the morning sun!
