Quiet wooded spot, spacious parking

Ample space surrounded by trees. I had a very quiet night and saw some bunnies.

Peaceful place with nice potential, if there were not a billion pieces of rubbish on the site. It is also very difficult to access; a 4x4 would have been needed. Beware: the GPS may direct you along 6 km of gravel track that is barely passable, even though there is a road 500 m away on the other side. However, we were not disturbed, and there were cute little rabbits among the olive trees.

Very peaceful place. We stayed a bit further down the road where there is a fire pit, many places to choose from. Do be careful with dogs, many ticks falling from the trees. We do not understand the French comment below. From the GR3100 it is only a few 100m drive. The road is a bit rocky and you come across 1 or 2 overhanging trees, but perfectly doable.

Well, we did not make it to the end of the journey… 6 km of track with sections of sharp stones, so we turned around. Perhaps we were not adventurous enough, but the fear of a puncture won out. We eventually found a dream spot about 2 km along the track. Waking up was simply wow! Incredibly beautiful! I could not pinpoint the exact location because there was no signal. Please, if you go there, even a tissue on the ground is visual pollution! Leave it spotless.

The view is fantastic, the weather is not as hot as the rest of the area, between mountains. We had no problem spending the night here.
