281-282 El Colomer Oest, 66230, Prats-de-Mollo-la-Preste
Been here?
Free parking by the river facing a fortified medieval town, with WC, water point, picnic tables, and two barbecues. Shaded pitches accommodate large motorhomes on the upper car park. Overnight stays are quiet and peaceful; church bells do not ring at night. WC facilities close seasonally during winter months. The picturesque village is a 1-minute walk away.

A welcoming stopover area just the way we like them! Very beautiful village, friendly shopkeepers, not forgetting the contagious enthusiasm of the tourist office hostess, who guided us through our visits. Fort Lagarde is an absolute must. A wonderful time spent in this magnificent town!Translating
Thank you to the municipality for keeping this free and pleasant parking area. The money saved goes into the tills of the village's good restaurants. The village is very beautiful—a lovely visit.Translating
Very beautiful place. We spent a quiet night here with the sound of running water in the background. Many thanks to the municipality.Translating
We spent a good, peaceful night after visiting the village. There is room to park a large motorhome by going past the van area. In the morning, we crossed the footbridge to the village and went to the L'Ours bakery, where we found good bread and delicious pastries. There was no river noise during the night, which was very peaceful.Translating
Spacious, comfortable, and quiet motorhome parking area. During Holy Week there were no services. The toilets were closed. It has a picnic and barbecue area. It is very well located for walking into the village.Translating
Very beautiful place, close to the village, to spend a night and enjoy the lovely fortified town. No waste container, and the toilets are closed outside the season. Beautiful view and quiet.Translating
We spent the night of February 28 and the bathroom was closed. We hope this is temporary.Translating
Out of season three were only a few motorhomes in this spot and we had a very pleasant stay. We parked on the paved parking lot, when we arrived it was dark and it was a bit difficult to get there with a 23 feet long motorhome. The paved parking lot is flat and there is a nice view of the town and the river from there. Out of season it was quite quiet and we felt very safe even if it wasn't lit.
Good place to park. I came with the van and had a very good night. Very quiet. The beautiful village is a 3-minute walk away. The parking lot also has a toilet, very clean at night, and many tables. Highly recommended. If you want to have lunch or dinner in the village, there are restaurants and bars, as well as shops.Translating
Cute village to explore, super-clean toilet and several nearby bins. Plenty of camping tables. Starting point for many hikes and bike tours. 10/10.Translating
Its a 5 from me. Had a peaceful night. Lovely little walled town to explore and yes the bells stop 10pm to 7 am.
We stayed for a week in September, with views of the bridge and medieval wall over the river. Very quiet and safe place, with a picnic area, toilets with a tap, and water. The village entrance is a 1-minute walk away. Perfect place and very beautiful medieval village, with a wall, church, and fort. Highly recommended in my opinion.Translating
Perfect place to spend the night with the river nearby. In summer it does not get too hot, and in winter it does not get too cold either. There is a nearby fountain with delicious water, rich in minerals.Translating
Nice place in the immediate vicinity of the river and town. Toilets and bins available. The night was very quiet.Translating
Quiet at night. Typical village. The Vival shop has a bit of everything. The bells start ringing at 7 a.m. Thank you to the municipality for allowing us to park for free.Translating
Good place next to the charming village. Thank you for letting us stop and sleep beside the river. At the tourist office they gave us very good information and documentation about the area.Translating
Great place, I love it.Translating
Good place to park and, if necessary, spend the night. Very close to the beautiful village, which has a lively commercial scene. Part of the village wall remains, as does the castle on top of the hill. This village is known for the Molló events, when President Macià tried to liberate southern Catalonia.Translating
A place that invites you to rest. Peaceful night.Translating
We stopped to visit the village and have lunch! Good place to stop and rest, etc.Translating

Very quiet for resting and visiting a beautiful village.Translating
Close to the village, level and quiet.
Wonderful. Good access, super quiet, plenty of shade, picnic tables, and bins. We have not visited the village yet, but it looks promising. Long live France! Thank you very much.
Well-shaded parking area, near the picnic tables and two barbecues, fairly large. There are toilets in the wooden hut, which are super clean. Great for visiting the village and for spending the night.
A good place to spend the night: quiet and wooded, with toilets, picnic tables, and a barbecue, and 2 meters from the center of Prats de Molló. I’m not giving it 5 stars because there are no showers; that is the only thing missing! We will return!
Very good place to park, visit the village 2 minutes away, and even spend the night. Very quiet, with space for large caravans at the top of the parking lot. Clean toilets with a sink for washing your hands. Picnic and barbecue area. Next to the river. Totally recommended.
