Dam-side parking, steep narrow access

A quiet parking spot beside the dam, with a beautiful view over the water and a garbage can. The nearby road has very little traffic, and nights are especially quiet, although tourists often stop during the day to photograph the dam. Access is very steep, narrow and winding, so large motorhomes should consider another place.

Clean, quiet, peaceful, and on top of that, a beautiful view. If there were access down to the water where you could dip your feet, it would be perfect. The approach is very steep with many bends, and the road is narrow. My 6 m van managed it, but with a large motorhome I would probably look for another place.
We stayed here for a couple of days. There is a road nearby, but very few cars pass by. Very quiet at night. During the day, tourists often stop to photograph the dam. The “Ravna Stena” mountain is not far away. Take a walk to see the surroundings from above. Very beautiful. It is best to wear trainers.
