This school parking lot is a calm overnight stop before or after the Corfu ferry, especially at weekends. On weekdays, school cars arrive around 7 a.m., so leaving then is advisable. Nights are generally quiet, with occasional motorists, children, or a barking dog, and a small basketball court is nearby.

Stayed for one evening after the ferry from Italy. Easy night. Stayed on a Saturday so no rush to leave in the morning. Fairly quiet besides some motorists and a barking dog.
This is a school parking lot, and many school cars park here around 7 a.m. It's best to leave around 7 a.m. as students need to go to class.
Cannot really be recommended! At most two campers fit there because someone has dumped a pile of rubbish there—and both entrances have extremely high curbs and deep potholes. If no camper is there, one of the two parking spaces is guaranteed to be occupied by a truck. I drove on.Translating
Pretty good. Relatively quiet, perfect with earplugs!! The dog is adorable and sociable with other dogs. We slept well. The parking location is ideal for departing on the ferry. Trash bin.Translating
We spent a quiet night arriving from Corfu by ferry. It was a Saturday evening: children were playing on the sports field in a family atmosphere. Around 10 p.m., everyone left and we were alone. No noise, flat ground, very good for one night.Translating
The parking looked good but it was during the week so we kept on going and in the streets of igoumenitsa you’lll find more available spaces around. we slept in a random street. Quiet and safe. some kids with their bike till 12pm ok overall after the ferry or before.
Good for one night.
Perfect for one night, especially if it is a weekend.Translating
We arrived on a Monday evening around 11 p.m. (the ferry was delayed). We stopped on a street after the gym parking lot. The neighborhood is residential and quiet. We had a peaceful night. This morning we passed the high school parking lot, which was indeed full. So avoid it during the week or school periods.Translating
Perfect for sleeping peacefully before or after the ferry. I was there on a Saturday evening after arriving from Italy and it was perfect; I felt safe. I imagine it is more complicated during the week, but weekends are perfect.Translating
We stayed there Saturday night and all day Sunday to visit Corfu on foot. The ferry departure is a 10-minute walk away. A few young people were there in the evening, noisy until midnight. We were alone in the parking lot.Translating
We spent a very quiet night there during the weekend and left the vehicle during the day on Sunday to spend the day in Corfu. We had no problems. However, I do not know whether it is more difficult during the week. There are also possibilities on nearby streets that seem fairly quiet.Translating
Great place for getting a bit of sleep while waiting for the 5:30am ferry. Teenagers playing basketball left pretty early in the evening, after that it was completely quiet, I was all by myself but street lanterns made it feel safe enough. I don't know where the previous reviewer went but I was at the big unpaved plot that's in the photos without any marked places.
Quiet and peaceful, excellent for when you arrive by boat.Translating
A truly peaceful night to begin exploring mainland Greece, with a large parking area and silence overnight. We were very comfortable.Translating
Good place to spend the night after arriving by ferry. We had a peaceful night. However, bear in mind that it is paved: either park on the street next to the school or in a designated parking area at the same bus station. Wi-Fi okay, no services, quiet and seemingly safe area.Translating
Perfect for spending the night after disembarking; it is 5 minutes from the port. There are trash bins. When we were there, the schools were closed, so we had no problems.Translating
Ideal for those arriving late at night by ferry. Quiet night; in the morning the school opens, so we left before 8 a.m. to avoid disturbing anyone.Translating
