Moorland parking, unsettled evenings

Gorgeous view but we witnessed several drug dealings within a space of a few minutes as well as boy racers ready to go, so we cooked and ate our tea and moved on…It is probably fine midweek, but today is Friday.

Good pitch by the road. no doubt it gets quiet later on but it's a magnet for youngsters in cars. Good views, pub very close, no facilities, excellent phone signal.

Lovely little stopover. Walks nearby and views the other side. Next to the road but only a 30mph limit so it’s not loud. Good night’s sleep here.

Stunning views, great for walking/hiking, next to a really nice pub. Close enough to walk into Ilkley town. We parked in our LWB van next to 2 other campers and plenty of room. Had a good night sleep so will definitely return here again

Great for one night. Some traffic noise, but fine.

Stayed here in January very quiet road and cars that do pass are going very slowly. Great views, nice walks and good phone signal.

Good phone reception, also a 35 minute walk into Ilkley and a short walk up to the cow and calf.

While this parking is close to the road, it is very quiet at night with the beautiful views over the moors. Hiking trail up to the 12 Apostols stones starts just across the road.

Beautiful view to wake up to! Nice and level. I was the only camper. Road is a little busy, but got quiet around 10pm (it was Saturday night). Only drawback is that it’s quite a popular pull in space for people. So not totally peaceful.

A place for when you have no alternative. There is a lot of traffic passing by, and at night they drive like maniacs.
