Closed on Sunday night, despite a sign saying open. Toilet was open. Cars parked outside, so it was a bit confusing.
Quaint pub with very friendly owners and good food and beer! We were given a very friendly welcome and stayed here for one night. The site is under video surveillance. The only disadvantage is the adjacent motorway, but if you ask nicely and there is space, you can park a little farther away. The site is accessible from both directions via its own exit.Translating
Phone the pub on a Friday night to ask if we could and book a table. landlord advised it was closed at weekends but happy for us to stay. parked well away from A1 and had a very quiet night.
Plenty of space, really friendly pub serving good value meals. Very friendly. Basic and noisy because of the road but exactly what we needed.
