Camping Les Bords du Rhin

Old sanitary facilities. Far too expensive for what is offered. Dogs prohibited! Where is the disposal station? What a shame. The lake used to be better. Strange smell this year.

the beach is defiantly the best feature here. we used to go here every summer when my kids were little, went back recently and it had lost most of its charm. all the big trees are gone. no shop any more. the merguez sausage man is still there after all these years next to the river. there is a free faerie to Germany out front

Beautiful place. Simple municipal campsite. By the Rhine. Swimming in the lake with a sandy beach at the campsite. On the border of France and Germany. Free ferry from Germany. Note: the ferry has a maximum height of 220 cm and a weight limit of 3.5 tonnes. Lots of mosquitoes in the evening. No dogs allowed. Sanitary facilities are outdated. We paid €31 in high season for a camper van and two people, including electricity (mandatory).

Simple campsite with free choice of pitches for tents. Very quiet, with no barking dogs or dog mess. The sanitary facilities could really do with a complete renovation. Nevertheless, suitable for a short holiday by the lake.

Dogs prohibited! That is unacceptable. Lots of permanent campers with wrecked caravans.

The site looks somewhat run-down from the outside, but on closer inspection you can see some great pitches. We wanted to read the site information at the barrier with our dog. We did not even get as far as the barrier because we had a dog with us. We were immediately expelled from the site!!!!!!!!! So dogs are not welcome!

We wanted to check in with two small tractors and small camping trailers. The site was empty. The answer was: “Something like that does not come onto the site.” In recent years and at 50 campsites, this has never been a problem. Not very customer-friendly. Regards.

We arrived at 6:20 p.m. — the municipal manager finishes work at 6:00 p.m. No problem, she surely deserves it — but that means checking in is no longer possible, and there was no notice, information board, or telephone number, simply nothing… like a ghost town!

The site may be okay in winter, but when I was there in summer, there were parties at various pitches until 6:00 a.m. You could not sleep at all. I will not return to this site.

The lady is retired and the campsite is under new management. Now the friendliness begins right at the entrance.

Avoid it, they do not accept animals.
