Been here?
Quiet, spacious gravel parking lot at the Goldau zoo, fairly flat with some uneven patches, and a good stopover on the Zurich–Gotthard route. Parking costs around 5–8 CHF for 12 hours via meter or app, charged 24h/24 with no exemption for overnighting. No formal camping ban and no checks reported, though zoo staff trim hedges in the morning. There's some traffic noise but it stays calm overall; no toilets on site.

Large, very quiet, relatively level parking area. No formal prohibition on camping, but parking must be paid for 24 hours a day. No toilets.
Huge parking area, very quiet. Great place to sleep if you are traveling the Zurich–Gotthard route via Schwyz. Three minutes from the motorway exit. I stopped on Friday, February 13, and there was nobody there.
We spent a very quiet night here. We are self-sufficient and do not need anything else, so it was perfectly fine for us. Yes, zoo employees may trim the hedges in the morning. But so what—they are just doing their job. It can happen when you stay here during the week.
Great overnight spot, very large, very quiet, clean, and relatively level gravel ground. Parking fees: CHF 8 for 12 hours at the machine; via the app it would be more. We were not checked by 8:30 a.m.
5.—very quiet for 12 hours and ideal for visiting Goldau Zoo.
