Harbour parking, daytime only

A parking pitch on the far side of Paleochora harbour, only a few steps from the village. It has a straight parking area and three large trees providing morning shade, with a beautiful sunset view. The spot is suitable for daytime parking; broken glass has been reported.

A good spot overall. We parked there during the day but did not stay overnight. We stayed on the other side instead; see the other P4N location. The wind was lighter there and it was a shorter walk to the centre.
Pleasant, just a few steps outside the village.
The parking area is no longer accessible because of construction work.
Basically a nice place, but not suitable with a small child or dog, as there are broken glass shards everywhere. We drove on.
We spent three peaceful nights. We could fill up with water very easily using a hose at the sports field by the harbour. Very beautiful place with excellent tavernas.
A nice place with shadow during the hot part of the day. I spent a quiet night there, a very nice taverna is in 5 minutes walking distance, about 15 minutes walk to the next super market down the road.
