A typical Icelandic campsite with grass and little else, but at least well sheltered from the wind. It is somewhat sunken, so there is no view. The number of showers is decidedly low for the capacity: there is always a queue from 5 p.m. until late, and in the morning it is even worse.
Beautiful small site without a kitchen or common room. Otherwise everything is available: one toilet and one shower. Everything is extremely clean with hot water. Water and waste services are available, as is the possibility of washing the car for free. The supermarket operator also runs the campsite.
Actually a lovely little campsite. No one came by to collect payment, so at 10:00 a.m. we drove to the supermarket to pay, but it was still closed shortly after 10. We continued without paying after genuinely trying everything.
Accepts the CampingCard. Cute camping, a bit uneven and bumpy but nice with bushes at the edge in a small hollow. Service block a bit dated, but the shower was surprisingly good and clean. Someone didn't come round to pay until the next morning, but then was very friendly (the same people run the mini-market and the restaurant at the petrol station in town). Excellent 5G mobile phone reception.
Superb and very quiet campsite. One shower and one toilet are somewhat few, but as it was not busy, it was manageable. There is even a free car-washing area up above. We would come again!
Disappointing arrival because of large buildings directly behind it and a small meadow. The dyke hides the sea but protects from the wind. The facilities are clean, with a women's shower, hot water without a coin, and no sulphur smell. In June there were few people, so there was space near nature. Great little campsite, though covering the terrace would make it even better!
Most beautiful site in this region. Lovely sheltered meadow protected from the sea, with views of a strip of nature. Wonderful shower, though only one toilet. Hot-water washing-up facilities. Shop within walking distance. Businesslike welcome, quite early. We drove a long way back to be able to spend another night here.
We slept well here, but at 8:40 the night is over: the energetic cashier woke us by knocking. Because we have the CampingCard, he wanted to collect the 400 ISK overnight tax. It is a shame this could not be done in the evening. Showers and toilets were very clean. It is a grass site, so be careful in the rain.
We spent a quiet night here. It is a small, relatively uneven site. Toilet, washing-up area, vehicle wash area, and water and waste services are available. Current price: 2,000 ISK per person plus a one-time 400 ISK service fee.
Nice little site surrounded by bushes and vegetation. Showers and toilets were clean, and the CampingCard was accepted without problems. Unfortunately, there is only one toilet, which is inconvenient at peak times after morning coffee or before bed.
Clean and very well-designed facilities. Chemical toilet, gray water and fresh water disposal, plus a pole for washing the vehicle. One shower, one toilet and double sinks for washing dishes. Complete and pleasant service by Icelandic standards. Bring leveling blocks, as there are few flat spaces. Pleasant village with a small supermarket. Thanks to the municipality for this simple but effective service!
Beautiful view, moderately flat terrain. No washing machine, unfortunately.
Nice. Clean. Modern. You can tell the owner spared no expense on the equipment. One toilet, one shower and one sink, all with hot water. One vehicle-cleaning area with emptying and filling facilities. Sheltered from the wind. All grass except the access ramp. Sloping... non-4x4 vehicles must choose the right place to leave in case of rain. But with good traction tires, it is manageable. Camping Card accepted.
Uneven grassy area, but with good parking possibilities. Beautiful view of the surroundings. Free hot shower and service facilities. Payment can be made at the well-stocked supermarket/café, whose owner is very nice.
Good campsite. Only one toilet and no chemical toilet disposal.
Cleaning is nonexistent, in the Icelandic style. Very uneven ground for parking. Otherwise, like the others.
