Unnamed Road, 6470, Biser
Been here?
This clean, carefully maintained campsite offers pitches with power and water, excellent hot showers, toilets and laundry facilities. A camper van for one person without electricity recently cost 13€. The site has little shade and is beside a railway, with trains, barking dogs, frogs and early or late crowing roosters sometimes causing noise. An épicerie is 5 minutes and a bar 10 minutes away on foot.

Matt (British), the owner, is very nice and funny; his campsite is great. Funny: there are frogs everywhere at night! The shower and toilet facilities are spotless. Grocery shop five minutes away and bar ten minutes’ walk. I paid only €13 for one night for a camper van (alone and without electricity). The passing train is not bothersome at all, while the neighbour is a little annoying with his animals… it has a certain charm. Thanks, Matt :)
Very well-maintained and clean campsite, not much shade, excellent bathrooms, friendly manager; the only drawback is the barking dogs.
We were here in June. It was a very nice site. Shower and toilet very clean. Electricity was also available if needed. There was a washing machine too. In addition, the owner is very nice.
We spent two peaceful nights. Immaculate facilities. Little shade. No FICC card discount.
Very good welcome. If you like trains, this is exactly the right place. The roosters start very early in the morning and continue very late in the evening. At a certain time in the evening, there are frogs all over the lawn.
Oh, what a relief after the mostly rather poorly managed Turkish campsites: this well-kept site, equipped with everything essential, just beyond the Turkish/Bulgarian border. Many thanks for that!
The facilities are very good, with clean showers and toilets. Unfortunately, a neighbour has dogs that howl constantly, and the railway line runs right along the edge of the campsite.
Our second stay at this lively campsite. Facilities and hospitality perfect.
Excellent site with good clean amenities the owner goes out of his way to offer help and advice I can highly recommend this site
Very well-kept site in a small village that was rebuilt in 2012 after a dam breach. Nice and helpful owner. A small restaurant in the village centre has a friendly owner and inexpensive, good food.
Everything a camper needs is here. We spent two relaxed nights and days here. The owner is very nice and helpful. We absolutely recommend this site and would gladly return. It is very conveniently located for crossing the border.
The parking spot itself is excellent and recommendable. The owner deserves special mention; he greatly helped us empty our grey water. We also had very pleasant conversations on site, which made the stay even nicer.
We do not usually use campsites, but in winter we could not resist taking advantage of this beautiful, quiet place. We hope to return soon. Matt is an excellent host and keeps the site very well maintained.
Lovely campsite that's made all the better by the owner Matt. We were there 2 weeks back & after touring Bulgaria it's still our favourite site we've visited. Thanks again for the warm welcome & advice Matt. Stu & Mand.
Warm welcome from fellow Brit Matt. Lovely well maintained campsite with all the usual facilities and entertainment from the baby goats who skipped and jumped right in front of us .
Open for out of season visitors. Happy Travels
Very nice owner! The site is actually closed, but we were still allowed to stay overnight; electricity was included and everything cost €10. TOP! Partly gravel parking area, which worked well in this weather.
Good, tidy, peaceful campsite. Matt was a gentleman, extremely helpful and accommodating. Recommended.
Very well-kept and lovingly maintained small campsite with attention to detail. Everything you need is available. The owner is very nice and speaks fluent English. Thank you for this wonderful start in Bulgaria!
Very nice owner, everything well maintained and clean, good free Wi-Fi. Strategically very well located for setting off towards the border crossing the next morning.
excellent little campsite, everything you need and so clean. nice little cafe in the village too, we stayed for 2 nights
Quiet site, very friendly welcome, good sanitary facilities.
We stayed for one night; everything was decent and clean, with full service. €16 per night; we did not use electricity. Recommended.
Beautiful site, built with care. Matt is a great guy with a good heart. You can rightly be proud of what you have created and built there!
Great campsite. Everything spotless. Good Wi-Fi. Good stopover on the way to Istanbul.
Very clean and orderly campsite. Matt is extremely friendly, gave us many tips about the area, and even jump-started us when the camper would not start. The best stop before or after the border, and arrivals are possible late in the evening by ringing the bell. A safe haven for all travellers passing through to spend a peaceful night. Electricity, toilets, etc. all excellent. Thank you very much!
What a lovely campsite and fantastic value for money (20 euro for 2 adults, dog and electric). The site is immaculate and facilities spot on - hot shower, good electric, flat hard standing pitch. Has a ranch type vibe and also sells wine, so what more could you want? Great stopover for crossing to Turkey as just off the main drag and Greece just down the road too. Owner a gent and v helpful.
We stayed here at the beginning of June. Matt is really nice and welcomes you to his campsite. We originally planned on staying one night upon entering Bulgaria, but we ended up staying three. Highly recommended.
