This scenic picnic area at Col de Belein has two picnic tables, a dumpster and room for three vans. It is very quiet, with beautiful Couserans views and a closed beach bar. The paved access road is narrow and difficult, allowing only one vehicle through, though a Ford Custom can pass.

The place is superb and guaranteed quiet. There is plenty of space. However, access by road is difficult even though it is paved, as there is no way for a car coming in the opposite direction to pass. With a car or van such as a Trafic, there is no problem. With a larger panel van, it is already more complicated. For motorhomes, I do not recommend it at all—unless you enjoy being scared.Translating
A very narrow little road leads to the pass. [A Ford Custom can get through.] Once at the top, there is peace and beautiful Couserans scenery. Two picnic tables are available.Translating
