Óbidos is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful medieval villages I have seen. The parking is free, at least if you arrive late, at 7 p.m. Very level and spacious.Translating
Even with a local festival in the nearby village we slept all night. Just a big parking lot, but close to the cute village with lots to see.
Large gravel carpark shared with cars and other vehicles. Can get very busy when an event is on. Best to get there early in day to ensure space. Very close to town so great for seeing Óbidos which is a beautiful place and well worth a visit.
Very large parking lot, toilets diagonally opposite, easy to find via Google Maps. There is also another parking lot next to it, as far as I could see; both are free. The way into town is extremely short and the town is very worth seeing.Translating
Perfect parking for exploring Óbidos. It is large and quiet.Translating
We parked here on Friday the 19th to visit the beautiful town of Óbidos. The night seemed quiet, but unfortunately at 2:00 a.m. two cars woke us up doing donuts. Despite having plenty of space on the open area, they stopped among the motorhomes; two drunk people got out, started running around, and shouting. We decided to start up and leave the town.Translating
Large dirt parking lot near the city walls.Translating
Okay for parking and probably also for one night. We liked it better behind the aqueduct, in the area clearly marked with a blue motorhome sign. Cars do not park there and it is much quieter. The ground markings show that it was or is a motorhome area. Only for self-contained motorhomes.Translating
only stayed for the day to visit Obidos town but it was perfect . easy access and huge space to park big vehicles
Very spacious parking area next to the aqueduct, 5 minutes' walk to the historic center. Currently free, the machines do not work, and the barriers are raised. Perfect.Translating
24.4.26 this car park is reduced by half as there is a game expo on most of it, suggest you go to the other one at the aqaduct, nicer parkup
A huge parking lot at the foot of the ramparts. We walked around above and found there was no security, but it was very beautiful.Translating
Spacious and convenient parking area for a stopover or a quiet night in Óbidos, which is truly worth the detour. A charming visit with its pretty streets. A lovely discovery for us. Thank you to the municipality for providing access to the fortress, which is very close.Translating
A wonderful level place to park and explore the fortress; we spent a peaceful night here. The gravel surface is particularly good—after the rain it was wet but clean. There is a suitable place nearby to walk the dogs.Translating
Spacious parking area for seeing the beautiful village. It is right opposite an entrance in the wall. We spent a peaceful night. During the day there are quite a few cars, but there is plenty of space.Translating
A great parking area for exploring Óbidos. We only parked during the day and not overnight, but that should not really be a problem. There were no signs prohibiting overnight stays. Drive slowly; there are many potholes.Translating
Excellent, peaceful location, very close to the beautiful village. There was a wonderful chocolate festival. We spent a quiet night.Translating
Perfect parking for visiting Óbidos. Pleasant little streets and the chocolate festival is on at the moment. You can walk around the walls for free. Very secure.Translating
A large parking area. We stayed there with our motorhome for two nights. Separate waste disposal is available. An ideal base for exploring Óbidos. We felt safe here.Translating
We slept well and felt safe. The parking area is fantastic for visiting the town, but after all the rain the surface is in very poor condition: gravel full of potholes. Leaving without a car was easy enough by avoiding the potholes, but entering with many parked cars was a little more complicated.Translating
Great place, also suitable for several nights.Translating
Close to the old town, large parking area with many potholes. Waste bins nearby.Translating
Very, very large, excellent even for motorhomes over 9 m, free, and just a stone's throw from the center. The town is truly beautiful, but if you happen to visit for the Christmas market and do not have children, save yourself the entrance ticket!Translating
Great parking area, almost opposite the village gate. Very quiet. Bins available. Beautiful village. Thank you, Óbidos.Translating
Excellent choice. A 1 km walk from the entrance to the old town. Great.
Quiet night, plenty of space. Ideal for visiting Óbidos.
Excellent location. Right next to Vila Natal. We spent a very quiet night.
Right in front of the village entrance, large, level open area.
A huge parking area shared with all kinds of vehicles. We spent one night, accompanied by five other motorhomes. At this time of year it is very crowded because of the Christmas setup in the village.
The absolute best overnight spot for visiting this enchanting place. Full during the day, but quiet at night. Óbidos is simply beautiful. Be sure to walk along the city wall; climb up at Porta da Vila, then go all the way around with a break at the castle.
Large parking areas, good for staying overnight while visiting the enchanted Christmas town. Out of town toward Peniche there is a great supermarket, a good inexpensive breakfast, and large washing machines and dryers in the underground garage. You can shop and have breakfast while your laundry is being cleaned.
Great stop over at the beautiful Obidos, calm night , plenty of parking at the back.. Thank you Obidos !! amazing restaurant !!
No toilet? There is a toilet in the motorhome anyway.
