19 Rue du Camp, 34610, Saint-Gervais-sur-Mare
Been here?
Quiet parking above the village with an open view of Saint-Gervais-sur-Mare and a clean, attractive setting. Much of the parking is sloped and the spaces are short; vehicles over 6 metres may overhang even when positioned against the bushes. Drinking water is available at the cemetery opposite, but the small electrical terminal is switched off. The village has a bakery, grocery shop and pizzeria nearby.

Beautiful view, beautiful village, very quiet, clean, and full of flowers. A few shops: bakery, grocery store, pizzeria. Perfect.
Beautiful parking area, sloping over much of its surface. The spaces are short. If your vehicle is more than 6 metres long, you will overhang even when pulled right up against the bushes. Quiet night. Well-preserved and very pleasant old village.
We spent the night quietly and self-sufficiently. Unobstructed view. Don't count on electricity; it is for the cemetery. Orange and SFR 4G work well. Walks and shops nearby, so it is perfect. Some are closed on May 8. Worth the detour.
Both SFR and Orange have 3 bars of 4G at the moment. The place is very nice, clean. Didn't try the electricity (you would have to lay cable across the access road to use). The places are only car size. See picture of my 6m pushed right up to the bushes still overhangs. The bushes are prickly and could scratch.... church bells (double) throughout the night but very distant and no trouble.
Very quiet; practically nobody passes through the parking area. Water is available at the cemetery opposite. Direct access to the village, with a bakery, pizzeria, and small museum. On the mountain opposite you can see the Néran bell tower, which is free to visit. To get there, turn left after the small bridge toward the stadium (the stadium is below the village). Once there, there is a beautiful view over the whole village.
We stayed a few days. The electricity worked fine for us but you'll need a long lead. Quite, nice view. The grocery store is currently under renovation. A few things can be bought at the tourist information. Bakery open.
Cemetery water temporarily closed due to drought.
I edited the location because it was described as having electricity, but it is switched off and I am not sure it ever worked.... It was described as having 4G, but that is false! It gets 3G, but no more!!! In short, I drove for an hour because it was said to have electricity and 4G. When I arrived, there was no electricity and no network, so I left again. Completely useless!!!
