This quiet, shaded parking area is in the heart of the village and is better suited to vans because of the low trees. There are no toilets, and the fountain provides non-potable water. Traffic increases around 8am because of the nearby school. Shops and restaurants are close, including a Creole restaurant next to the parking.

Be careful, suitable only for vans because the trees are low. The town’s two public toilets are closed. Near a school, so there are many cars at 8 a.m.
Nice spot for sleeping. Be careful, there is foliage overhead, so it may be more suitable for vans. Small Creole Réunionnais restaurant next door. We ate very well and, on top of that, the owner is a motorhome traveler.
We spent one peaceful and quiet night here in this pleasant little village, where shops and restaurants are very close.
