Covered, level area; fine for one night.
Thank you for providing these facilities. The covered parking was very welcome, I came here mainly because of the shade. The town has clearly spent some money building this place and if that means paying a little for water and electricity, it seems fair to me. Level spots, shade, rubbish bins, nice view, free to park. Try finding anything like that in the UK
Superb spot for a lay over for the night. The solar roofing structure works really well although the setting sun is straight in your face.
We were here on May 21, 2026. We thank the municipality for the free parking. Only three stars because to use the services you have to go into town to buy tokens, and if you arrive late everything is closed. I would install a machine accepting credit or debit cards for both the services and the parking.
Great spot with water, toilet emptying and rubbish bins. We stopped to fill up though didn’t stay. Parking bays are now under cover with solar and yes, you won’t be able to charge your own panels but if you’re only here for a night that shouldn’t be a problem! Easy access from the main road.
Magnificent motorhome area. Electricity €2 for 12 hours; water €1 for 30 minutes. A welcoming village. Thank you for welcoming us.
A place mainly for vans because of the approach. The surroundings are nothing special either. Be careful not to drive through the town; continue along the road and there will be a sign.
I don't understand all these positive reviews. It's a bad place that forces you to park under a shelter, and it's impossible to charge the batteries with own solar panel. So you're forced to buy a token for electricity.
Great quiet place. Small shops for shopping. Water costs €1 with coins. Electricity costs €2 with a token. Highly recommended.
Thank you to the village for this motorhome area. Next to a park, the municipal swimming pool, and a basketball court. Very quiet area with all services.
We stopped simply to eat and fill the water tank (€1 for 30 minutes; no tokens needed). There is now a shelter for motorhomes that protects from the sun. Electricity is also available (€2 for 12 hours). The place seems very quiet.
Paid services, but €1 for water and €2 for 12 hours of electricity is honestly very cheap in the mountains, with covered pitches as well. Pure happiness.
All services work correctly. If something fails, call the town hall in the village on weekday mornings and they will come to repair it. Paved, level ground. They have installed a canopy with solar panels, which will provide good shade in summer. You can park in front so you can charge using the solar panels you carry.
The pitches are now covered with a solar installation. Your own solar panels and satellite reception are impossible. Apparently, parking outside these eight spaces is prohibited.
Disappointed: you put in one euro and there is no water. We bought electricity tokens at a bar in the village, and surprise—they sell them, but there is no service afterward. Not worth stopping, or even parking.
Lovely spot with good services. Slight risk of grounding for vehicles with a long rear overhang. Caution is needed. There are only 8 parking places with no overspill area for late arrivals when the official aire is full.
Very well organized; we spent the day here.
Thanks to the town hall of La Granja d'Escarp for this very welcoming area with all services, plus a park and football pitch for the children.
Mega-great motorhome site. You can stay under the open sky or beneath the newly built canopy, which has solar panels on it. Very well designed and with a beautiful view. The canopy will certainly be an advantage in summer. We were in a typical Spanish village and ate tapas in a bar. Otherwise, there is not much to expect in the surrounding area.
We had a very good night in this quiet place. All the facilities are new. Until 7 p.m., village children played on the adjacent sports field, but it was not bothersome. However, in the morning a Spanish motorhome was emptying its gray water onto its pitch. Truly disgraceful. The municipality should inspect the area and issue fines.
Good area for resting, with all services. The road is under construction, but there is access to the area. Electricity tokens are available at local businesses and the town hall.
Beautiful, shady motorhome site thanks to the solar panels. Water €1 for 30 minutes. Outdoor swimming pool within walking distance. Free waste disposal.
Area located next to the sports center and swimming pools. Electricity is available with a token from the bar, and water costs €1 for 30 minutes. Clean, with good views. The road is under construction, but access to the area is well signposted.
This is the second time we have spent the night here and the day at the pools, which are a two-minute walk from the area. Very good place, and this year there is shade thanks to a roof with solar panels.
Finished, but after 8 p.m. many people were on the football pitch right next to it, and strange people sat around the motorhome, sitting at the sides and staring at us. Very uncomfortable! Even though we had an electricity token, we left to sleep elsewhere and returned in the morning to charge the battery.
A little far from the motorway if you want to stop en route; otherwise very quiet and pleasant. The downside, although I am not including it in the rating, is the lack of civility of some campers. Water is paid.
New, quiet, with a roof made of solar panels. It has an electricity connection, which we did not use. Gray-water emptying and a filling point are available. The roadworks currently make access difficult, but it is very well signposted. When leaving, be careful in the village: the streets become a little narrower and the final turn out is somewhat difficult, but it is manageable with careful maneuvering.
Thanks to the users who indicated this place. There were three motorhomes. Fairly quiet, with a nearby playground but nobody after 10 p.m. Photovoltaic panels are currently being installed.
Good shaded place, with few but spacious pitches. A great initiative for the village, encouraging people to shop and visit. Electricity with tokens and water €1 for 30 minutes. Level ground, with a small, steep but easy climb.
If I have to rate the area, it gets a positive vote, and I must thank the town hall for providing us with this shaded place. However, the surrounding area is full of rubbish. At the entrance to the confluence, a pile of rubbish bags welcomes us, in addition to the rubbish found everywhere. It is a shame that this area is in such condition, as it used to be well worth visiting.
The area is very good. It is clearly newly built and has all the services. It is next to the village swimming pool and has shade.
Not bad: a canopy of solar panels that shields you from the blazing sun, a park and benches/tables next to it, close to the river and beside sports courts and a swimming pool. We only ate and rested before continuing our route. It is still under construction; some areas of the pitch surface have raised asphalt. This can be avoided by not reversing all the way into the space.
I was satisfied. It was very quiet at night, and in hot weather the roof was a dream. I would return immediately.
Quiet place, everything you need
Area with all services: electricity, socket €2 for 12 hours, water €1 for 30 minutes, roof with photovoltaic panels. A marvel. It is not finished yet, but perfect for spending the night. Thanks to the town council and the village.
The site has been upgraded with a roof made of a photovoltaic system. This provides shade from the sun for many hours a day. P.S. The work is not quite finished yet. Thank you for this sunshade.
Well located, but beware!! It is unfinished. Where the motorhomes are supposed to park, there are two trenches at the distance of the four wheels, leaving you stuck.
It is a good area, but at the moment it is under construction and there is no possibility of supplying water or emptying the black-water tank. They are also installing solar panels that will form a kind of pergola. For this reason I cannot give it five stars.
We are leaving this magnificent area. Thanks to the municipality. However, it is May 6, 2025, and there is no water, especially no notice indicating that the service point is out of order.!! (€1 solidarity fee!!)
We stayed here for 2 nights. Very quiet spot on the edge of town with great views. Locals are so friendly and welcoming. Good bars , food and local walks. Solar upgrade underway at present . Unfortunately the water wasn't working but that was no problem for us , we just walked into town and bought some. I'm sure that will be fixed soon. I highly recommend this spot.
