8046, Zürich
Been here?
Rest area on the A1 near Zürich with a Büsisee service point (both north and south sides) for grey water, black water and toilets, plus trash disposal. Reliability is inconsistent: the station has repeatedly broken down or been dismantled, though a May 2026 pass-by suggested it was working again. Water pressure varies from strong to very weak. Parking is small and time-limited, with a nearby EV charger and a snack bar.

I only stopped briefly to dispose of rubbish. While passing, I noticed that the wastewater/toilet disposal station seems to be open again. The parking area is otherwise rather small and time-limited.Translating
Fresh water and gray water are closed. The station has been dismantled. Both directions.Translating
We only filled up with water here. Excellent water pressure.Translating
There is indeed a toilet waste disposal point, just on the right before the toilets.Translating
Büsisee Nord (direction Bern) has no waste water disposal of any sort. Only toilets and a fairly new looking EV charging station.
Great for cleaning the toilet, filling water, and emptying the grey-water tank. Thanks to Switzerland for having such convenient points. You can also stop here and eat a burger or sandwich at the bar in the same service area.Translating
Water pressure is minimal. It takes ages to fill the tank.Translating
Büsisee South: Everything worked! Emptying the tanks is a little unusual.Translating
February 1, 2024: Büsisee North service station defective. The column has been removed. Apparently it has been like this for some time.Translating
Warning: Button “A” makes water shoot out of the tap at full pressure! Not suitable for rinsing a cassette toilet. Otherwise okay.Translating
May 25, 2023: service station completely defective.Translating
Water collection works and is clean; everything is free.Translating
