Been here?
Small family-run campsite in a quiet green valley near Lago di Lugano, with a pond, pool and on-site restaurant serving typical Ticino food. Clean, well-kept sanitary facilities are consistently praised. Pitches are grassy with a mix of shade and sun; good base for hiking, with a bus stop right outside. Prices run noticeably high for two adults with electricity, and the restaurant is also considered pricey. Reception can be closed on late arrivals or unattended overnight.

Beautiful campsite surrounded by nature. Clean facilities and lovely hot showers! Playground for children. Very friendly staff and clear instructions provided when we arrived after opening hours. The restaurant has a wonderful menu. The only downside was people talking loudly in the evening and a few cars driving around the campsite. Perhaps because of the restaurant? Maybe traffic should be limited after a certain time?Translating
The reception was unattended; the operator would only arrive the next day. There were signs everywhere saying that you could not choose your own pitch; the operator assigned the pitches. The river was a small, inaccessible trickle, and the lake was a brown sludge. The buffet staff also did not feel responsible. We did not stay.Translating
Very reasonably priced. For the friendliness, simplicity, comfort, peace and quiet, pool, and delicious food, I am happy to pay. It is a holiday, after all. Top campsite!Translating
Incredibly beautiful place with swimming opportunities in the river, pool, and lake. It is somewhat expensive at 53 Swiss francs for two people, but in my opinion it is worth it. Extremely peaceful and beautifully located, with absolutely clean sanitary facilities. Also, large beautiful pitches with plenty of shade or sun, depending on what you prefer. We look forward to our next visit.Translating
Actually a very nice, quiet campsite. But CHF 54.00 for one night, one person with a van and electricity is far too much. The price-performance ratio at the bistro was also not right for me at all.Translating
Nice big pitches in the green, away from the busy Lago. Great for traveling with kids and/or dog. Showers/Toilets clean. Nice Bistro (a little pricy). Overall a great spot - highly recommend
Very beautifully situated, family-run, nature-oriented campsite, hot showers and dishwashing water, clean sanitary facilities, pleasant all around. We are happy to pay reasonable prices for that. But CHF 53 for two people staying overnight in a camper in the low season is too expensive. The cozy, nicely run bistro also does not meet the quality expectations at its high price level.Translating
Very expensive for one night: €32 for the motorhome, €28 for 2 adults, €13 for 2 children, €6 for electricity, €4.20 tourist tax.... The restaurant at the campsite is also very expensive (€14 for a tomato and cheese pizza), €10 for an aperitif.... Extra-thin and burnt pizzas... Really a shame because the place is magnificent and the welcome is friendly.Translating
As already described, it is a simple but beautiful and very natural campsite. The small neighboring village, reachable by walking, is worth a visit, but I am taking off one star because of the price: camper, two adults and one child, electricity and dog, €81 per night.Translating
Campsite as described, quiet, beautiful pitches, nice pool, tidy sanitary facilities, but we think two nights for two people with electricity for €107 is a lot, even for Switzerland.Translating
Exceptionally carefully designed grounds. The sanitary facilities are spotlessly clean. In the middle of beautiful, green surroundings. Pleasantly dark at night, with the paths discreetly lit by low-level lamps. Friendly welcome. Many lovely walks and hikes are possible. With geological highlights.Translating
Very friendly welcome. Make sure you ask for a “Ticino Ticket” which is valid on busses and railways throughout the canton. Also discounted attractions as well as boat cruises and cable car rides. This in mind, the price seems justified and well within the benchmark.
Friendly and nice campsite operators. We stayed outside and were allowed to use the sanitary facilities. CHF 37 for a small camper and two people. Quite expensive, but okay for Switzerland.Translating
For us, everything was okay in the low season.Translating
Highly recommended for relaxing. Small and quiet. The staff are very friendly. Clean bathrooms, even with hairdryers and a baby bathtub, ideal for families with children. Very well-maintained playground and pools. Small and large pitches, suitable for everyone. Far from Lugano city but well connected by public transport. Reaching Monte Brè from there takes about 2.5 hours by bus, train, bus and funiculars.Translating
Excellent campsite, I recommend it. Shaded pitch, clean sanitary facilities and a superb pool. There is a children's playground, access to the river and a quality bar/restaurant. They also speak French!Translating
Small, quiet family campsite in the heart of nature. Warm welcome. Very clean and functional sanitary facilities. For families there is a playground and a modern, very pleasant pool area. Highly recommended! A real favorite.Translating
Beautiful surroundings, a good starting point for hikes. Family-run; for the price of CHF 88 for one person and two nights in a mini-camper, the sanitary facilities could offer more. I was there at the end of July and, according to the lady at reception, was very lucky to get a pitch without a reservation. I had really been turned away from four other campsites in the area beforehand.Translating
Pleasant site in the woodlands. Pitches are a fair size. Small , very clean swimming pool with life guard for a welcome dip after a days travel. All facilities expected are available. Clean showers and toilets. Staff are very friendly. Very expensive site… 60CHF for a campervan and 2 adults. Swiss power adaptor required - which we do not have. Bread available in the morning - 4 CHF for a loaf.
Small, quiet family campsite in the heart of nature. Warm welcome. Very clean and functional sanitary facilities. For families there is a playground and a modern, very pleasant pool area. We spent two nights there in a van and highly recommend it! Pitch with water and electricity. However, beware of mosquitoes; there is a pond.Translating
