Calle Contraviesa, 18697, Almuñécar
Been here?
A quiet, level dead-end street close to the beach, bars, restaurants and a small minimarket. It is easy to enter, has turning space, and is a practical alternative because motorhomes and campervans are prohibited along the seafront. Recent stays were peaceful apart from occasional barking dogs, although daytime construction traffic and machinery are present beside the parking.

Flat, next to the beach, and apparently safe. Not many cars pass nearby, at least at this time of year. There is currently construction on the lot next to the parking area, with trucks and machinery coming and going during the day.
Nice spot easy in a dead end road, you can turn at the tops, short walk into town, small mini mart a few steps away. We stopped here for a rest and there were half a dozen vans there, a few looked like they were quite resident there.
We parked here for a short walk around. Could have easily stayed the night. We are 7.9m.
Very peaceful night with the odd barking dog but not all night. About 2 minutes walk from the beach where there are bars and restaurants. Motorhomes and campervans are prohibited along the seafront so this place is a good alternative.
