The only reported alternative is before the dam, where parking is on a strong slope. Municipal authorization was previously required for overnight camping.

I stayed here one night; theoretically, authorization from the municipality is required. Enchanting and peaceful place, and the lady at the little bar is extremely kind. Excellent starting point for various hikes and mountain-bike rides. Narrow, steep road.
We stayed here one night with a roof tent. Beautiful, clean place. Unfortunately, the kiosk, fountain and toilets were closed. Authorization must be requested from the municipality to camp freely, but you only need to download the form from the website. The night was peaceful. Barbecues are possible and there are many picnic tables. Also recommended for families with children.
