Urban gravel pitches, traffic noise

Well-located area. It lacks two outlets: 14 spaces for 12 outlets, paid at full price without electricity, which is not right. Two outlets should be added; it would not be complicated and everyone would be happy. Thanks in advance.

It does the job... Since the area is beside the road, particularly heavy traffic noise starts at 6:30 a.m.! If you are looking for peace and quiet, it is better to go a little farther.

This is ok for a stop over but that's it. It has electricity. No toilets or showers. But it s right next to a very noisy road.

A bit disorganized parking, not the rv park fault but people should learn how to occupy only one space.

Beside the canal, everything works well, quiet at night and close to the centre. The spaces are indeed narrow, but there are more advantages than disadvantages.

Very well-located motorhome area near the canal and town centre. The pitches are perfectly flat and grassed, but somewhat narrow.

Nice small area with services and electricity, €16.40 for 24 hours in March. A little expensive for the season. Ten minutes' walk from the town centre, which is of no interest. We spent a quiet night. Minor downside: some people mistake a motorhome area for a campsite, setting up tables, chairs and a barbecue next to their motorhome for the weekend.

Pros: very well located along the Canal du Midi cycle path and close to town. Quiet night. Parking on gravel. Cons: of the 14 spaces, 2 have no access to electricity, and the pitches are very narrow.

For one night, with some normal train and road noise in the town centre. Flat pitch and services are fine. Close to the centre and canal.

We spent two quiet nights here. To use Camping-Car Park pitches, I recommend obtaining an access card at the terminal once. You can top up the balance in the associated app and simply hold the card up or enter the code at the entrance and exit. The pitches are functional; it is not a campsite! One criticism: the Wi-Fi is not sufficient for streaming.

Camping-Car Park motorhome area; you have to enter an access code. The pitches are narrow. It was cold, so we did not enjoy the walk along the canal. The restaurant is closed on Mondays, unfortunately for the cassoulet. The same code is used to exit, but it is difficult to see the screen while entering the numbers. We did not notice the road noise.

Small pitches, with a Euro-Relais service pedestal. We are on a Camping-Car Park area, so why not have a CCP pedestal, which would be more convenient than the push button for taking on water? I almost forgot: the road is very busy.

Passing through on 16 November. Small area beside the canal and in the heart of town. The pitches are not very large but sufficient for our van. Ideal for walking around town and along the quays.

Impossible to enter even though there were vacant spaces. The entrance does not allow you to turn around safely; you have to reverse blindly into a two-way street. Opposite a travellers' camp.

Narrow pitches, but a convenient area close to restaurants. A little noisy in the morning, especially if you have a pop-top roof... Good for one night and going out for cassoulet!

A fully serviced parking area, well located for visiting the town. Canal, small restaurants, the basin and its four very pretty locks. The town itself has no interest.

We weren't going to visit as I don't like Cassoulet but I'm glad we did. Good car park type aire and a lovely walk along the canal to a bustling town with everything you would need.

It is fine for visiting the village, but we were packed in like sardines. The spaces are marked, so you cannot open an awning or put out a table or chairs... €25 per night, a little expensive.

Area with very narrow pitches, little possibility of even putting out chairs, and no shade. A Camping-Car Park ambassador is present to advise on parking. The only positive thing is its proximity to the town centre.

Strange. Many different places to choose from, ranging from asphalt to meadow... Right next to the river and a football pitch. Lots of mosquitoes, so bring at least insect repellent. But what were those toilets and showers supposed to be? I really did not understand.

Convenient area for visiting Castelnaudary.

A pitch that is not very wide but sufficient to set up on the side. If you want more space, you can put the table and chairs either in front or behind. The pitches are separated by greenery hedges. Showers and toilets at the campsite are available. We were given a very warm welcome and helpful information by a very kind gentleman. The Canal du Midi passes right behind the motorhome area.

The pitches are admittedly narrow, but the location beside the Canal du Midi and close to the town centre gives this site all its appeal.

Nice, a little expensive for what is offered, but right next to the Canal du Midi. Some pitches are shaded; if you have a sufficiently long extension cable, there are four power outlets on the service pedestal.
