This flat, clean daytime parking area is above the rooftops of Český Krumlov, behind the cemetery, with a view over the city. Traffic is present on the opposite street, and police patrol the area. Recent reports state that parking here can result in a wheel clamp or a fine, and sleeping in a motorhome is not permitted. A brief daytime visit was possible, but the area is not recommended for overnight stays.

We were clamped without warning. The police only accept Czech crowns. It was a very unpleasant wake-up. It is not possible to sleep in your camper in the Czech Republic. You absolutely have to use paid areas.Translating
We stopped briefly for a quick visit on February 16, 2025. No problem, but I do not recommend this parking area because I was afraid of getting a fine! We also had a huge climb to get there.Translating

The area can be reached from two points: one is a steep climb, the other is flat. There are houses around, so it is not completely isolated, but it is quiet and 15 minutes on foot from the city center! We asked a local person, who told us we could stay without any problem! In front there is a large area that cannot be used because it is an emergency helicopter landing zone.Translating
