Quiet campsite. Nice operator. Wi-Fi. Café Matthias is just around the corner, with delicious cakes and ice cream. Pure Ostalgia. Not crowded. We stayed one night, and four other campers shared the large meadow with us. Plenty of room for everyone.
The owner is very kind, the wet rooms and camping pitches are very good, and the location in nature is excellent.
Very quiet, relaxed place. Sanitary facilities with yesterday's charm, but very clean. Not far from the swimming lake, and a very nice operator—what more could you want? The ideal place to unwind.
If you like Ostalgia and want to immerse yourself in the good old days, this is a great place! The lake is not far away, there is a small restaurant on site, and the operators are very friendly.
We stayed here for five nights and felt very comfortable. Apart from one night, we were the only campers on the meadow. The site has a lot of East German charm. The sanitary area was adequately equipped and clean. The price-performance ratio was absolutely right.
We would gladly come again. Super-friendly operator, excellent food, and wonderful surroundings.
Our first impression when we arrived at the campsite and saw nobody else was 'very isolated.' After three days, it is still the same. We enjoy the peace day and night; occasionally a car passes. Others have already described the site well. Anyone seeking peace, cycling, and peaceful swimming will feel at home here. The nearest supermarket is in Dahme, 6 km away via an asphalt cycle path through the forest.
We have been staying here for a week and spontaneously extended our stay. The site is large enough and offers some shade. Check-in was quick and uncomplicated, without a reservation. Supply and disposal were problem-free. Nice groundskeeper. The swimming lake is within walking distance. We also recommend Café Matthias. It is open daily except Wednesday from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, bread rolls are available by pre-order from 7:00 to 9:00 a.m. We still have to try the restaurant at the holiday complex. The sanitary facilities are clean. Wi-Fi depends on luck, or on standing close to the router. We used to swim in the lake as children and are happy that it still—or again—invites people to swim. We will definitely return.
You can freely choose your pitch. Everything you need is available. Waste disposal is possible by arrangement with the operator. The sanitary facilities have a nostalgic feel, but are clean and usable. Pleasant, helpful operator who gives tips for exploring the well-developed cycle network. Good value for money! Recommended: visit the small evening-menu pub and the nearby Matthias Café.
Beautiful meadow with plenty of space. Sanitary facilities are old but clean. Very friendly owner. The area is very isolated but beautiful. Swimming lake nearby. Be sure to visit Café Matthias. We are staying for two nights. It feels more like wild camping than a campsite.
Very quiet, beautiful meadow with a friendly operator. Simple but clean sanitary facilities with a generous dose of Ostalgia. Café Matthias is only 100 meters away and highly recommended. The site is ideal for campers seeking simple tranquility.
