Church parking, sloping and dirty

It is good that there is a place where we are allowed to stay, but it is really close to the road and cars drive fast. I do not usually mind such things, but this road is extremely busy—even at 7 a.m. on Sunday! The fountain water is good, and it is next to a restaurant with plenty of green space to walk the dog.✦Translating

Dirty place, with lots of rubbish around. Very busy road. But we had no trouble with the police staying overnight.✦Translating

The car park shown in the photo is by the restaurant. The water is opposite it. The location marked on the map is a little higher up. There are benches and a table there, but it is also cramped and the ground is quite sloping.✦Translating

The lower car park next to the restaurant is much better than the upper one by the benches. The upper one is very small and quite steep, and you are in the middle of a tourist information point. The lower car park is large, although generally slightly sloping too; the spot at the back is the flattest. We spent a very peaceful night.✦Translating

Water only from the spring. The mains water has no pressure. You have to fill buckets or bottles. Parking is beside the main road and restaurant; the secondary parking area is on a steep hill.✦Translating

The car park in the photo is directly beside the road, but if you drive a few metres up the path to the left of the tap, there is a better place with a table and benches. The spot is shaded and unfortunately a little littered. We left the motorway especially for this, because none of the motorway parking areas have shade… at 37 degrees.✦Translating
