Bohmertstraße 131, 45964, Gladbeck
Been here?
This is a partially shaded, low-cost motorhome area beside a park, suitable for self-contained vehicles and walks in the surrounding greenery. The current overnight fee is 5€, with grey-water and chemical-toilet disposal available, but no electricity or fresh water. The adjacent motorway creates noticeable noise, and the ground can be muddy. Dogs must be kept on a leash.

Convenient for stopping overnight. Shaded places. You can hear the motorway quite a lot, but personally it did not bother us.
Nice place in the countryside. Ideal for self-sufficient campers. Costs only €5 and the site attendant is very friendly. The motorway is only perceptible as a hum. It was very pleasant here.
Unfortunately, always muddy. Very noisy, not only because of the road. The site attendant was loud with acquaintances late into the night. Shame; it used to be better.
You should bring earplugs because of the motorway. Otherwise, a perfect place. No electricity, no fresh water, but grey-water disposal. Friendly site attendant and absolutely fine for €5!
We have been here often and like it. The motorway does not bother us, and we can manage without electricity for a few nights. Great price; one should not forget that there are people who maintain the place. So far we have always had peace and quiet and met nice people here. We travel in a 7 m motorhome and have always found a place.
Less suitable for noise-sensitive people, as it borders a busy road. We were alone apart from a parked caravan. Fine for one night.
We spent a quiet night here and had nothing to complain about. Despite some obvious long-term parkers, there was still enough space. We paid at the honesty box by the barrier because nobody was there. There are certainly prettier pitches, but the proximity to the motorway is very convenient.
We drove to the site. Suitable only up to 7 m. The place is nicely situated and has grass pavers. Watch out when entering at the dilapidated barrier. Very narrow. On the right are two caravans, the first completely cluttered and the second extending one meter into the access lane with its drawbar. Both appear to be permanent. The €5—not €3—is a good price if the surroundings are right. We did not stay.
There is a place here to empty the toilet, costing €1. It is also possible to stay overnight here, now costing €5. The site is clean and idyllically located. A good stopover. Anyone staying overnight does not need to pay extra for emptying.
Many thanks to the association and the city for this inexpensive (€3, in a box at the barrier) motorhome pitch. Grey water and chemical toilets can be emptied. No fresh water. No electricity. Everything was clean. It really is very noisy. I am not sensitive to noise at all, but it was loud at all times of day. Nevertheless, good for parking.
The site is clean and very well located by the lake, but also by the motorway. And that should be acceptable, even though the site attendant was friendly: as a woman traveling alone, with his male friends present cleaning cars and such, I did not feel comfortable and moved on.
The price of €3.00 per day is definitely worth it. I came to the site spontaneously. Yes, you can hear the traffic, but I still slept well. Note that there are no sanitary facilities or electricity. Grey-water disposal is available. For one night, I would return anytime, since pitches are truly scarce in this area.
We stayed here for the ELE Triathlon 2025. We liked it very much. Fair price. Relaxed atmosphere. Many thanks! Park and outdoor swimming pool nearby. The motorway is also quickly accessible.
Located near the A2 and the ring road, with constant traffic noise day and night. This was the first and last time we stayed here.
Excellent, and the price is really very fair—€3!!! Beautiful lakes and park, and a cool children's playground.
Terrible, shabby site! LOUD, firstly because it is next to a heavily trafficked road and motorway, with trucks late into the night, and secondly because of the large adjacent car park and its nighttime visitors. The club members with their old vehicles do not seem particularly considerate either.
