Cove parking, smell and midges

This is a parking area at the end of a small cove on the Shannon, beside a little-used road. The ground is stabilized and has a superb view. It has also been reported to have a foul smell, midges and litter.

We relied on the shared review. When we arrived on 27 August at 20:30, we were surprised. It is indeed a path beside the water, but it gives off a nauseating smell. Then there were midges, and finally rubbish. Terrible.
