Shady parking, quiet nights

Quite a good parking area in a small forest beside the road. Very busy during the day, difficult to find a place; in the evening it is full of people out walking. There is apparently shade from the trees during the day. We will see how quiet it is tonight. Update: super quiet at night, no traffic, slept very well and peacefully. I recommend this parking area for an overnight rest.✦Translating

We stayed for two nights, one to sort out a few things on the motorhome (thanks RC Reisemobil-Center!!) and one to visit Mannheim, which we strongly advise against visiting. The parking area itself has no services, but it is very spacious and the surroundings are wonderfully quiet. There is a beautiful walk around the forest and pond, where you can see many animals for free!!✦Translating

Very large, quiet and spacious. If there is a celebration at the tower, simply drive to the other end. Wildlife enclosure, pond and fitness trail nearby, with free birdsong.✦Translating
