Rue de la Liberté, 50480, Sainte-Mère-Église
Been here?
Paid parking with flat grass pitches, no services. €2 for 8 hours, €10 for 23 hours (overnight), or €35 for 24 hours—avoid the 24-hour rate as the jump is steep. Payment via app. Very calm, 10 minutes from the charming town centre with church, museum, and shops. Tables and chairs allowed; no nearby trash bins.

Many thanks to the municipality for allowing us to park at a very modest price in such a touristy place: €2 for 8 hours. Flat parking area; you can even sleep there for €10 for 23 hours. Warning: 24 hours costs €35.Translating
Parking with grass; not even some private areas look this good. Perfect for visiting the city, and the price for 8 hours is very reasonable and inexpensive, which is appreciated. 23 hours for €10 is also a good price compared with what you see in France. WARNING: Do not select one day, as one extra hour costs €35.Translating
Large parking area, ideal for visiting the town and the Airborne Museum, both just steps away. Only €2 for 8 hours, very practical. Thank you to the town for allowing parking at such a low price.Translating
There were 10 motorhomes sleeping peacefully here. Pleasant location close to the church. The only criticism is that there is no trash bin nearby.Translating
Good parking for visiting the town and the museum, €2 for 8 hours, a very fair price.Translating
Excellent parking and overnight stop for visiting Sainte-Mère-Église.Translating
There are no services, but it is really right next to the town: church, museum and shops. A pleasant little town!Translating
Very convenient for visiting the town and museum. Thanks to the municipality for providing this reasonably priced area.Translating
Top-notch parking area. The pricing is a little strange: €2 for 8 hours and €10 for 23 hours is very cheap, but €35 for one extra hour, meaning 24 hours, is rather strange.Translating
Perfect for visiting. Two euros.Translating
Perfect place to park and visit. €2 for 8 hours is really cheap. Overnight stays are possible; it is quiet.Translating
Perfect for visiting the village, though a little expensive since there are no services: €2 for 8 hours.Translating
Closed during the D-Day celebrations because Camp Geronimo takes place here. An alternative spot on a large meadow is clearly signposted and provided free of charge. Trash bins are available.Translating
Banned from the city because of the D-Day celebrations. We parked at the bus parking area and briefly looked at the market square and the famous church.Translating
The area is right next to the town center and is pleasant. It is paid and has no services, but the village is very touristy, so it is already excellent to have an area so close to the museum. We spent a somewhat restless night because of the wind; otherwise, there was no noise.Translating
€10 for 23 hours of parking, and there are no trash bins to be seen anymore. We also spent a night here last year, but there were large trash bins then.Translating
Parking on the grass is not possible with so much rain. €10 without services is a bit excessive.Translating
To visit only the town and the Airborne Museum, 8 hours is enough; we did not stay overnight. Ideal for the price of €2.00. Payment by cash or credit card. Tourist information is open in the afternoon from 1:30 to 4:30. Cycle route number 5 through the town is 49 km and also passes Utah Beach and Carentan, using rural roads with little traffic. It can be done without an e-bike, as it is fairly flat.Translating
A little expensive considering the lack of services, not even a trash bin for waste.Translating
We stayed overnight; you can hear the motorway, so it is not very quiet at night. No services. Just steps from the town center. Expensive for no services.Translating
We spent a few hours here on August 20; perfect, not too expensive, with the village just steps away for visiting.
Clean, pleasant parking area, close to the museum and a fairly busy road early in the morning. Good for one night while passing through.
Easy to locate. Simple to pay on machine again. E10 for 23 hrs is ok as at least you can stay. Handy for the museum and the village a few mins walk away. We ate out and tried several bars. Everything was good. Airborne Para on the church was seen. World famous. The site for vans is flat. Grass. Plenty of space last night. Bit of noise from the road and no services at all. It’s a simple stop over.
The area is very good, but for that price it could have some services. Ideal for spending the night and visiting the museum and village early, before they fill up.
The only authorized parking for motorhomes in the surrounding area. €2 for 8 hours, allowing you to visit the town center and museum. Overnight stays are possible for €10 for 23 hours. Clean grass parking area.
The parking area is very large and partly shaded. We had a good, peaceful night. There is a skate park next door, and the museum and center are very close.
Very spacious grassy parking area without services. We spent a very peaceful night.
Huge, quiet parking area close to the town center, a 5-minute walk away. Excellent.
Excellent large parking area. Ideal for visiting the town. Two euros for 8 hours. Overnight parking allowed. The town is a 2-minute walk away.
No services, no trash bin or water refill; parking is expensive. ATTENTION: €10 for 23 hours, €35 for 24 hours. Lovely little town worth visiting.
Lovely place for an overnight stay. We arrived late in the evening and found space for two campers. The museum and church are 200 m from the parking area. No motorhome services. Highly recommended. You can also pay for parking with EasyPark.
Pleasant, quiet place just steps from the center. €2 for 8 hours, €35 for 24 hours without any services, which makes 24 hours a little expensive.
A quiet night in a spacious and clean aire. Toilets in a car park across the road. Easy walk into town to the sights, bars and restaurants. I counted 35 vans in and still plenty of room. No facilities, as stated, a bin would be good.
Excellent parking area for visiting the Airborne Museum and the town. There are toilets in the other car park.
A super-nice area, all grass, next to the village, museum and other attractions. The only drawback is that it has no services; otherwise it is excellent, and motorhomes of all sizes fit without problems. Thanks to the town council for these facilities.
Great for taking a walk around the very lively town. Unmarked places on the grass. Plenty of space for everyone, difficult for it to become full. Thanks to the municipality for offering this kind of service when everyone bans motorhome parking or puts it far from everything. As a result, we spent money in many small local shops.
Spacious and peaceful! Very close to the museum, which is truly worth visiting.
Perfect for visiting Sainte-Mère-Église, right next to the church. The ground is flat and grassy, and it is quiet. Plenty of space so as not to disturb the neighbors.
Perfect parking area near the town center, very well maintained.
