Maintained lakeside site, hot showers

The price for a motorhome pitch is completely excessive. I would turn around and drive on.

Nice place, clean facilities, friendly hosts, just somewhat noisy at night because it is directly on the B17. Electricity, water, and wastewater connections are right there. 200 meters to the lake, and we walked to Neuschwanstein in two hours.

We got a pitch here for three nights in perfect weather. The value for money was absolutely fine for us. We would very happily come again.

Absolutely amazing place. You can use the campsite facilities, where everything is available: showers, toilets, laundry, children’s corner, restaurant, and more. Nice swimming from the wooden pier. There is a bus stop directly at the motorhome area, with a direct connection to Neuschwanstein and elsewhere. After two nights, we received a guest card and traveled for free. Check-out is by noon; most people leave around 10 a.m., so you need to arrive early. By 1 p.m. it was already full.

Nice motorhome parking area. We stayed for two nights. A free bus ticket was included, with access to nearby towns and Neuschwanstein Castle. Guests also have access to all the campsite facilities, including a topmodern service building, swimming in the lake, restaurant,shop,entertainment. We would have stayed one more night and given it five stars if the motorhome pitch hadn’t been so expensive.

We stayed here for one night, arriving well after midnight and wanting to leave early in the morning. We went to reception and asked whether we had to pay anything for the few hours—we had used nothing, only parked—and had to pay the full price! For two adults and two children with an alcove motorhome, that came to an astonishing €43! I find that more than outrageous and a rip-off.

Gorgeous campsite with excellent facilities, including bread to order if you want it for the morning. Reasonable price and excellent walking opportunities with some stunning views! Latest arrivals when we visited were by 7pm in order to book in with reception on one of the ‘outside’ motorhome spaces.

Very well-equipped motorhome area! Electricity and water available at every pitch. Access to the campsite facilities. Sanitary facilities newly renovated and very clean. Restaurant, grocery store, etc. The price is reasonable considering the facilities and quality of the site.

We parked right next to the campsite and have access to all the campsite facilities. I recommend it.

Great motorhome park! Very clean, well maintained, and quiet, with a beautiful mountain view. Modern sanitary facilities, always tidy. Friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location for excursions to the royal castles, Lake Forggensee, and for hiking and cycling. Absolutely recommendable—we would gladly come again!

Perfect for spending a few days at the motorhome area. The sanitary facilities are better than those in many sauna complexes. The food in the restaurant was excellent. The bus connection to the castles and Füssen is also perfect.

Very nice motorhome area. If only it weren’t for the inconsiderate, selfish dog owners. You are constantly bothered. When you ask them to put the dog on a leash, you get an insolent response.

We always enjoy coming back! Brand-new showers and toilet facilities at the campsite, with free access to the lake. Dog shower available. The bus to Füssen leaves directly from the site, and public transport is included in the camping card. Great restaurant, although dogs are not allowed inside. They are allowed on the terrace.

Contacted through the website and booked online for one night with a motorhome. Sanitary facilities were extremely clean. Small supermarket available, closed Mondays, with fresh bread rolls, etc. Pitch directly by the lake—very quiet; noisier on the roadside. Dogs are no problem, although they are not allowed in the lake from the pier. Conclusion: a fantastic, exceptionally clean site; everyone is very friendly. I can only recommend it!

We parked in the camper-park area and had access to all the campsite facilities. Check-in included a card for free local public transport. The facilities are amazing, the restaurant and beer garden are beautiful, and you have access to the lake and can even rent a pedal boat to swim out into the lake. Easy access to Neuschwanstein Castle by bus.

Apart from being close to the road, we found this place excellent! Access to the campsite is possible, with very clean showers and toilets, restaurants, and motorhome services, for €34 per night for two people with electricity. I recommend it!

Unfortunately, the motorhome pitches were all occupied. However, we got a pitch at the campsite. Electricity and water directly at the pitch. Large parking area with very good organization; in the evening, a staff member comes by and checks on everyone. :) Access to the lake is available, but the pier and meadow were unfortunately very crowded. Sanitary facilities very clean.

Very expensive camping for one night, but unfortunately there is nothing free nearby for visiting the castle the next day... €47.80 for two people with a motorhome.

We stayed for one night in June. Highly recommended. The sanitary facilities are new. The entire campsite is very well maintained. There is also a beer garden. The service was very friendly. The surroundings are beautiful. Neuschwanstein Castle is very nearby. We would come again anytime.

The campsite is fine, but check whether the motorhome pitches outside the campsite are full. Because of this, we were placed inside the campsite, which cost €80 for one night with three children.

Very nice motorhome area, extremely kind managers, and fantastic use of the adjacent campsite’s facilities. Hot water is also available for washing dishes. Beautiful woods for walking the dogs. In summer, you can swim.

right next to a road, busy in day, quiet after 9 ish until 7ish. saving grace is you can use site facilities free shwrs laundry 5 euro/load and plenty of machines no waiting. black and grey waste/ water all included 31 euro for 2 adults electric extra. good location for castles and mountain ski lift plus free bus to sites and Fussen. good restaurant ok price apart from day road noise it's good

Beautiful, best camp spot we've been to. We paid €26.80 for 2 adults a toddler, with no electric (although I don't think that made a difference). The free showers are amazing, so clean and fresh and beautiful. We refilled our water and emptied grey water. We played on the slide by the lake. We visited the restaurant. Check in staff are all very friendly and helpful. Would definitely come again.

Stayed 2 nights. A few places empty both nights. Lovely campsite. Excellent sanitary facilities. Great food at restaurant. Free bus to castles and back- if busy you might not get on. Laundry €4 wash/dry. Really friendly reception staff. Drive over waste. Would recommend.

Very well equipped and maintained site a few kms from the castles. Warm. Many showers and toilets, great laundry area and immaculate washing up area. Ideal place to get everything clean and charged after a few nights off grid. €23.80 for two people including tourist tax in mid December includes a bus trip to the castles. Good value and friendly staff.

Perfect pitch for visiting the castles by bicycle, but a little expensive per night.

We felt very comfortable here for three nights! Showers and toilets nearby, clean and well maintained. Everything was wonderful; we would gladly come again. Highly recommended.

At a motorhome pitch, you choose an available space and then go pay. If you do that here, you get a lecture. The location, facilities, etc. are wonderful. It is clean too. The road is not heavily trafficked at night.
