Fantastic place. To get there, do not follow the GPS; follow the city's directions. At the entrance you can already see how to get there.

Very beautiful free site in a large field, allowing you to visit Dinan and its port. No services, but truly within walking distance. Very quiet night. Beautiful walk along the Rance to the lock, on foot or by bicycle. Thanks to the municipality for this site and its free access.

A place without services but absolutely spectacular, somewhat difficult to access.

A little town worth seeing, with a very spacious and convenient area.

Thanks to the town for this free parking area. There is a small path to reach the town on foot in less than fifteen minutes, or even free shuttles, although they run infrequently. However, not a great wake-up call before 7 a.m. from inflating two hot-air balloons that took off from the other end of the field.

Sunny parking area without services, no less than 10 minutes from the historic center, with a very steep climb.

Fantastic open area. Far too dusty and it looks like it gets muddy on rainy days. Very peaceful for spending the night and very close to the village, reached by two somewhat steep paths. Bins at the entrance and no services or shade.

Free parking day and night, very busy but quiet. Ideal for visiting Dinan, which is well worth it. Unusable in rainy weather, with a steep climb to the old town. Access is via the exit from Dinan before the bridge toward the port; go all the way to the back. Everything else is paid.

Brilliant stopover just a 5 min walk from the gorgeous port and into the historic centre. Massive field which was busy but still loads of space at 3pm. We followed previous reviews when locating the field and got there easily. Use the Rue de Port road! Also recommend Peggy restaurant on the river and the boat hire.

Basic parking, very convenient. Excellent service, including a free shuttle to beautiful Dinan. Free at the moment.

Enter Rue du Port on Google. It worked for us, coming from Combourg. The shuttles run hourly and arrive late. So we chose to walk up a dirt path on the hill, visible as soon as we went back up to Rue du Port. Beautiful city! Unmissable!

Very spacious area, about a 10-minute walk from Dinan's historic center. Be careful if you follow Maps directions, as they are incorrect. You need to head to the port parking area. It is a very large open area beside the river and aqueduct. There are no services, but there are large containers at the entrance. Thank you, Dinan, for this free space.

Thanks to the municipality for making this large space available for free. Avoid it in rainy weather. It allowed us to visit Dinan: quite a cobbled street to climb and descend, lots of shops, delicious ice cream at the port, and a continuation by bicycle to Taden along the Rance. A beautiful stopover!

We arrived around 7 p.m. but had no problem parking: there is a huge amount of space. Excellent location for visiting the wonderful town of Dinan; in a few minutes you can walk to the port with its restaurants and bars, while it is still very quiet at night. Thank you.

Parking very good for sleeping and visiting Dinan. Attention: you must arrive via Lanvallay because access through Dinan is very limited.

Huge parking area beneath the viaduct. There are no services, but it is free, and it is very quiet at night. Ideally located for visiting this beautiful town. There is also a free shuttle that takes you to the town center. In short: free parking and a free shuttle—perfect!

The place is very beautiful and large, and there is always room. Beware of Maps when arriving: follow the signs for the hospital, go around the town, and then follow the signs for the port parking area; otherwise you get stuck in the center.

To explore towns, motorhome travelers need parking areas like this! No height restriction and still close to the center! You can even find a place here in the afternoon.

Magnificent parking area for spending the night and exploring Dinan. Capacity for many motorhomes. Bins 50 meters away, no services. Beware of Google Maps directions, as it gets a little confused. Thank you to the town council for places like this. Here we truly feel welcome!
