This beachfront parking is currently inaccessible because a concrete block prevents entry. Nearby parking is possible only in the low season. The area has been described as extremely dirty and largely deserted, although a public beach shower was still functioning in October.

Unfortunately, they installed a concrete barrier and you can no longer enter. Parking is possible nearby, but only in the low season.
Extremely dirty. I reckon it's even worse now after the Harry storm. The whole place feels like a ghost town. I'm sure it's better in high season, but I only stayed for 15 min and moved on.
We didn't find it really spooky. We've stayed in much worse places. We are alone here and feel safe. Occasionally a car or cyclist passes by. No facilities, except for the still-functioning beach shower! Great! It's almost the end of October. In high season it is certainly too crowded. Anyone who can't deal with rubbish should avoid Sicily.
Fine for daytime and a beach day. It would be too spooky for us to spend the night. Quite an end-of-the-world atmosphere and everything is badly run-down. Everything, absolutely everything(!), except for the welcome beach shower, which was still working in October. Lots of rubbish.
