This daytime car park beside Pontsticill Reservoir offers level parking, some shade, picnic benches, woodland paths and access to the water for boating or fishing. It is near the Brecon Mountain Railway, with supermarkets around 6 miles away in Merthyr Tydfil, and recent reports confirm 4G on EE. There are no facilities or bins, so rubbish must be taken away. Recent overcrowding and litter have been reported, despite earlier reports of quiet conditions.

Stayed here end of May. lovely and flat and some shade available. Right by reservoir beach. Day trippers fishing or boating. Few respectful vans overnighting. No facilities including bins. take your rubbish with you. it's lovely and clean and van lifers obviously taking good care of it. I litter picked a few small bits from beach but otherwise pristine
This carpark was lovely but now being abused.. It's opposite a house or farm building, and was over run with vans and other folk car / tent camping overnight parking over the late may BH. Sadly the place was looking like a campsite and even worse, rubbish everywhere. Please don't park here.
First wild campervan park up for me. Quiet and no bother. Flat pitch with a couple of other vans here. I would use again. Full EE phone signal.

lovely quiet spot with amazing views and walks. absolutely no phone reception or Internet on o2 or tesco mobile but can find signal 2 minutes up the road if needs be
