This shaded woodland spot is 5 minutes from the main road and close to the river. Tracks lead down to the river for fishermen, and a 7metre plus van reached the clearings. The area is flat and can be quiet, but road noise is noticeable, especially from the bridge’s rumble strips. The tracks may become muddy when it rains.

A beautiful, level place. We were alone after a family of fishermen left. The road is quite audible, especially because the bridge has rumble strips.
