13 Chemin Bessi, 06100, Nice
Been here?
A small parking area in a quiet dead end in Nice, with a tram stop about 5 minutes away and the city centre five stops farther. It is free, and overnight stays are possible, but the parking is very small. Traffic and confusion increase from around 8 or 9 because of the university campus.

Parking regulated during the day, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Along a street, so expect traffic, less at night than during the day. Good for a van for one night, not for a motorhome because it is too narrow. The park toilets are closed from 3 p.m. until 9 a.m. the next morning. But the park is very beautiful.
The parking area was really tiny, not to mention that some of the cars there had flat tires and cobwebs. We parked farther along the main road, where there was some commotion, especially from 8 or 9 a.m., because it is a university area with many students going back and forth.
Very quiet area, no problems. I was there in July and it was fine. Tram stop five minutes’ walk away, and in five stops you are in the center. I spent the night alone and it was fine.
I'm guessing it was the neighbour at the end of the road who told me to turn around. When I was reversing to turn around, he started banging on the back of my van. Avoid it if you don't want to deal with a see-you-next-Tuesday.
There are about 25 spaces in total, which are also in high demand during school holidays. We found a spot that was excellent for visiting the city, which is wonderful, by the way. It is free, and there is a tram nearby that goes to the center.
We could not stay at this place, but we did find a spot a street farther on, next to the university sports complex.
