Unnamed Road, 6150, Shipka
Been here?
Parking at the Valley of the Thracian Kings, beside the tomb of Golyama Kosmatka. Entry costs 6 lev, and toilets inside are open 9-5pm. Two-night stays have been comfortable and quiet, but the entrances contain sharp branches that can damage campers; the second entrance is safer. The area has also been reported as littered and unattractive.

I stayed there for two nights and it was really pleasant and quiet. Just be careful, especially at the first entrance, because of sharp protruding branches. The entire right side of our camper was scratched. The second entrance is better, but still be careful.Translating
The point from the previous review is fair, there are lots of tyre marks in the car park and the entrance road itself. The place didn't have a great feel and there was lots of paper garbage in the parking area, it looks as though the shepherds might sleep overnight in the adjacent field. We did stay the night and it was quiet but I get the feeling that we were lucky and I wouldn't recommend.
Given the number of tire tracks and burnouts in this parking area, it cannot be quiet at all. It is fine for the duration of a visit to the tomb.Translating
